If you're in the UK these chef pants are only £35 and have a similar vibe to Polar's surf pants.

Chefs pants kinda seem like the move. Obviously checks is a statement.

Big fan of how the surf pants fit. Definitely my go-tos in the summer, but I wish they were a just a little bit thicker.
Uniqlo U puts out dope pants as well. Last two pairs of jeans I got from the U line are on point.

I am surprised I don't see more people skating in Uniqlo U pants/jeans, it the cheat code. I've got a super thick pair of work pants and then a pair that are a work pant silhouette but are jersey/sweat pants material that are super comfy.

Get the surf pants in cord. Got my first pair last week, they are the same fit as all my normal surf pants, just thicker material. So looking forward to the first cold weather session in these + a hoodie.

Been on the hunt for some good baggy jeans to skate other than Polar.

I got some Levi’s skate Baggy jeans last week. https://www.skatedeluxe.com/en/levi-s-skate-baggy-jeans-jackson_p131905 Bought my TTS and although they are cool, I feel like they could live with a bit more space at the waist. They also feel quite thick and not that flexible (they do say it has spandex, but not super noticeable), I think it’s mainly because they put double layered back pockets in the skate range pants, makes them really stiff.

Yesterday went to my local and ended up getting some Carhartt Simple pants and the first impressions are really positive. https://www.skatedeluxe.com/en/carhartt-wip-simple-pant-norco-jeans-blue-worn-bleached_p125974 They are wide, not too thick, and have a high rise waist that gives it a more generous range of movement. Looking forward to wear them out but I’ve been on shorts life for the last 2 weeks or so. Too hot for pants.

Went with three pairs, black, white and grey.

Quality - lightweight material, quite thin. not the best but for £35 it’s as good as expected. Made in pakistan. The stitching was a little hit or miss. On one pair there were obvious mistakes where the stitching was undid and redone. The biggest bummer was on the grey pair (the only ones I opened) there was some markings , one that looked like residue from a sticker, the other was a faint logo looking imprint up and down both legs which ive tried to show in the pics.

Sizing - Im heavy. 230, 5’10. Size XL (the biggest they do) is 34-36. These did not fit me at all. If I even gently bent over I would have torn these in two. With that said, thats a me problem not a them problem. I would not buy these if you are over a 34.

Ive sent these back for a refund now but if I wasnt so thicc & they fit me I’d he hyped on them honestly.

is there inseam/crotch area reinforced or double stitched? thats my biggest need in a skate pant
while cool-guying is a real phenomenon, studies show that 83% of all cool-guying incidents can be attributed to the cool-guyee being an awkward weirdo

Whoever was shilling the Ben Davis pants probably turned off the thread to them but they're my favorite pants to skate in when weather permits.

Too thick for summer wear in most places though.

Anyone able to recommend pants similar in fit and material to the Levi's Skate work pants?

Philly Santosuosso doing a denim colab with Butter Goods.  The cargoes they did were great and seriously baggy.  Interested to see how these come out.

Some good stuff from his timeline on these.

new rule if you can take your pants off without taking your shoes off, they too baggy.

I like my pants like I like my men: loose with shredded bottoms and shoestrings holding them together.

I've loosened my fits in recent years and like it, but yeah, I feel like a lot of people are gonna be embarrassed of themselves in a year or two.

501 fit, with slight taper, will always look good. Its just facts. Skinny, or even slim, doesnt look good on everyone.
I've gone baggier aswell, tho only Polar '93 and surf pants. 100% more comfy to skate with then slim jeans, which I used to skate.
