yall get your usual size in 93s or size down?
[close]

I have both and the sized down pair fit much better on me. My "actual" size I can take on and off without unbuttoning.

hm yeah i sized down and they fit good just wish the leg was a little wider like how carhartt dungarees fit

Following up on this but did they change their sizing recently? Just got a pair of black 93's from their most recent drop in the same size as my standard blue ones and the waist is much more snug. I'm afraid if I exchange them for a size up they might be too baggy so idk

size up 1 or 2 sizes, you get a nice baggy fit then. still depending on the production year. but for under 20€ on ebay that's not too bad

IDK I have some regular Levis in the 550 and 501 or 505 whaever it is. and they are not baggy enough compared to Lee's jeans or even LL bean or any skate company pant. If you want baggy pants Id stay away from elvis or get levis silvertabs loose or baggy fit but those can get expensive.

550 are a relaxed fit, 501 and 505 aren't so it kinda makes a big difference which number fit you have.

Also, what Lee's do you have?

550 are the Jerry Seinfeld fit and not as tapered as lots of the current baggy skate pants. For me the fit of baggy shit has to be on point otherwise I look dumb as hell. The new 93s don't fit me too well as the crotch ends up way too low, but if I size up a waist size in normal Carhartts the proportions are appropriate.

Those pants are very different fits. 550 is the loose tapered one and 501/505 are the classic straight fit ones.

I got a pair of 550s in almost two sizes up recently because I also wanted a more fitted jean and wanted to look like Casper Brooker. I like them a lot but I wouldn't call them baggy. Definitely relaxed above the knee with a nice taper at the bottom half.

I just picked up more Athletic fit tapered jeans from Old Navy for $30 ($40 full retail)

They have 1-2% Spandex, and the rest is cotton.

They aren’t too thick, and not too thin.

I was having problems finding pants that would flex with me, and these are really great for the price, with no weird fit.

(My waist line is bigger than ever, and I needed some more baggy pants.)

I have 3 pairs I got at good will so Im not exactly sure but they are perfect for me. 2 pairs of carpenter/dungaree fit I think it is and they are pretty baggy and fit well, then I have these black ones that are on the baggier side but pretty tapered at the bottom which I love but the taper makes some of my shoes look stupid.

Levis that makes sense with the fits the 550 I have are def the baggiest of the bunch. But I feel like you could get 2 levis of the same cut from a couple years apart and they will fit so differently. Levis is just such a mixed bag of fits from my experience..

All that being said the best baggy jeans are theories plaza pant.

I do Levi’s 550 two waist sizes up and they’re pretty perfect for me. Not too baggy but enough to move around.

Usually did dockers for spring/summer but already ripped two pairs so tried carhartts, I can see what all the fuss is about. Bought 2 sizes up and they’re fantastic. Very durable and not too thick for summer sessions.

Now just waiting for this cellulitis to heal up. Got a shinner from my axel and forgot to clean it cause I was battling a trick, had to go to the ER for IV antibiotics. Hopefully will be good by the weekend but that was my first bad infection from a skate cut. Wash and cover your cuts right away <3

Levi's makes a short, the 469, that I got at JC Penny online for $30 on sale. Carhartt shorts are about the same on Amazon and pretty relaxed.

My curiosity got the best of me and I pulled the trigger on the AliExpress Big Boys. Here's my Initial review.

I purchased from a seller called "Drip-Dealer-Baggy-Jeans_Store". They had one of the lower prices and had the most 4-5 star reviews, it seemed like people for the most part were receiving jeans that matched what they ordered. I've never owned Big Boys before, but I'm a 34 waist in other Polar pants, so I went with the XL Light Blue. I ordered on May 28 and my total came to $24.50 after a first time buyer discount. I think shipping was like $3??

The seller actually shipped quickly, within a couple of days, but then nothing happened. They probably got handed to the postal service and then sat at a distro facility or airport for a week or two. They had "guaranteed" delivery by June 7th, which they missed and so I received a $1 discount code for my next purchase. Eventually they moved, they were handed off to the USPS and were delivered to me on Friday June 14th.

The quality is actually very good, but I was most surprised that it has ALL of the Polar tags. They're extremely similar to the tags I've received on my real Polar jeans. All the stitching is good, the Hems are nice, there's no dangling threads or unfinished hems. They even have a really nice Polar branded button on the front. It's possible that the denim is slightly thinner/slightly lower quality from real Big Boys, but I don't have a real pair to compare them to. However, the denim is definitely lighter/thinner than my Polar 92s.

The fit is good. They're a true 34" and feel good around the waist. They have good length too, so I can give them a small cuff at the bottom which I like. They're obviously very baggy and very roomy. The crotch is pretty low but that's just the Big Boy design.

I plan to skate in them soon, but I'm going to run them through the wash first. They don't have any funky or chemical scent that you sometimes get with Chinese goods, which is nice. I'll be interested to see how they hold up after a wash, but so far they're pretty legit.

Everyone an make their own decision about how they feel buying knock offs. I don't think I'm going to dip back in and become a Big Boy wearer, but I was definitely curious. The only other items I've ever bought from Chinese sites is Sports jerseys, which have usually been pretty good as well. I may post an update later on after skating and wearing them a bit.

I bought these Bronze jeans a month or so ago in a size L.  Just wanted to put in a good word and say that they are amazing quality, a great fit, and a terrific bagginess.  Good word put in.

@BartHarleyJarvis a real one. I ended up ordering two pairs of the black big boys, one for myself and one for my girl (at her request lol)
