its obvious that some of the 917 graphics are purposely stupid or lazy (GLAM, the casserole) but the brand has some charm and their videos outweigh the hit or miss graphics.

Anything that isn't original artwork tends to lean toward awful. Photos of 2pac, anime copy and pastes, hello kitty, bobs burgers, spongebob, DGK style brand-knockoffs (Reeses, cigarettes, cocoa puffs,  playboy logos, any branded product).

Graphics that tend to be the opposite of this are ones with original artwork by people closely associated with the brand - Templeton, Evan Hecox, Pendleton, Gonz, Castrucci 

Cartoon characters tend to be a sign that the art department has given up.

The April board with the chrome rose against a purple fade background. Horribly cheap looking. But I’m not sure if April boards actually exist in real life. Maybe they’ve never made a tangible product. No one has ever seen one.

Shit, I love April boards. Reminds me of a early 90's Silicon Graphics CGI sizzle reel. And to be honest, that's definitely a style I can fuck with.

The Fucked Up Blind Kids Series was shit, specifically the Jerkin Jordan deck. 

I had the Henry Sanchez one, it was half price and it was a really nice shape. The graphic actually looked pretty good with the woodstain once it had been scratched up.



This, and pretty much every other Pizza graphic, is dog shit though.

I lived in Spain until I was 12, I can confirm that this is true
