This one has been staring at me from the stack forever, I had to set it back up. The tail is unfortunately worn from dicking around with manuals but I never actually skated the thing much. Gonna take it to the new curb spot not far from me.

9” with a 13.8” wheelbase. Set up with Indy hollow 144 and some 56mm 101 classics. Spare parts honestly but the magic carpet is super fun with this one. It has a pretty strong taper over the rear bolts.  I previously skated it primarily with 5.8 Ventures.

I love this board and I wish they would make more. I had the deathwish version of it and my dumbass put rails on it. It's like the chill BBS version of the loveseat.

The Heroin Curb Crusher has a 14.1 wheelbase and is roughly size 10" in width

I checked the Free Dome website earlier.
The specs seem really interesting, but maybe that is a typo?

https://freedometoskate.com/collections/store/products/death-taxes

8.8 x 31.125 and 14.25 wb

which would make for a really short nose and tail I think?
[close]
that sounds too good to be true :(
[close]

I think Geoff talks mentions this shape on his nine club stop and chat. He says that he was skating it. I think the shorter measurements are correct
[close]
link? the one i saw said he was skating an 8.5

edit: solstice is saying it's 32.12
https://www.solsticeskateboarding.com/skateboards/freedome-skateboards
Since I know we were all losing sleep over it, I went ahead and grabbed one.  It measures just under 32" The 14.25 WB is accurate.

Get hungry on it!

They might be measuring with the tape pressed against the board, which i think is more accurate, especially lengthways. Otherwise the length is going to be shorter if the kicks are steeper etc

It can't be to hard to make a medium to steep deck that's..
8.75-9 inches wide
32 inches long
14-14.25 wb
Please and thank you.
[close]

If my order of uncut decks actually ship, I got this.
[close]

Over a month later, did it. Kind of...

9.38" (fuck, wanted it to be 9") x 31.5
14" wb

I set this up to test, but I can feel I'm going to be sick of it by the end of this week :v Doesn't help that I went ahead of myself and cut 3 of these.

I also need to redo my template and make it better by not making it so wide and making it less square.

:o
i want if youre selling samples, that snowboard shape looks like fun

@off I keep forgetting to reply to this  :'( I have one deck not set up and one deck set up and skated for one session (the deck pictured). If you're still interested and in the contiguous US, DM me and we can figure something out.

ordered one a couple of days ago, should be closer to 31.75 i think since the nose is shorter. will measure when it comes in

Cant add anything in terms of how frequently they put this shape out, but I am interested to hear an update once you get it.  I've had my eye on it too.

That shape looks great. Definitely would like to hear how it feels. Are you gonna rock 5.6 or 5.8? Sadly I don’t think it’s a regular in the lineup. From my understanding it seems like aws/habitat have a few standard sizes they put out in every drop with more standard wheelbases and then every once in a while I will see something like this a different shape with a shorter wb. Like I know they occasionally do an 8.5 with a 14wb.

Did it arrive yet?

I should have visited this thread sooner!

Was tempted to get that R7 Madness flip deck but stumbled on the AWS OG repeater (blind luck really) the shorter WB is what sold me...tho that R7 with steep kicks is still calling me.

I'm more so lamenting that exact fact, that I wish there were more options of wide pops with 14.18 and under WBs (14.25 is more a midlength WB IMHO). That's why I'm thankful for the biz&co 8.49 decks, except it seems like they're messing around with that formula...

I was eyeing the 8.49x31.7 but the dims seem suspect so I'm not willing to blind buy...and noe details on the WB that I can find...

if you can compare it to a dsm and a dlx that would be gnar worthy

referring to nose and tail steepness, i should have been clearer

but i would bet money the dsm wood is better, bbs has been feeling kinda dead lately

I love this shape....Dimensions measure true! No stickers, dot/indent or laser engraving on the top, but there is a circle/dimple on the bottom (center of truck holes). Magenta stain middle ply. DEEP concave Medium kicks; not quite 2 fingers of flat.

FAT nose, appears more blunt/wide in person, photo makes it feel like it's super long.

Nice short-ish tail too

Found this today while browsing socal:

https://socalskateshop.com/Socal-Skateshop-Blank-T1-Deck-Blue-Stain-875x32.html#!?cc_decks=92645&c=cc_grip-tape

Deck Specs:
Width: 8.75"
Length: 32"
Wheelbase: 14.25"
Nose: 7.125"
Tail: 6.7"

slightly egg shaped definitely looks like a proper 90s shape.

Clutch wood.  A local company uses that shape.  I'm skating the 8.38 popsicle out of the same mold (with same 14.25 wheelbase) and it's nice.
