Hey all and Thank You for all the information given in this post.

I just got a Giorgi Skate Mental Deck - I somehow expected it from BBS but it does not have the sticker I remeber from my last FA. No made in Mexico or something like that.
It has a blue little sticker with the 8.5 width and a Stamp in the wood with 9 0. Anyone who recognizes the current woodshop? In the list it's PS and Clutch.

Thanks, Erik
Sounds like Clutch. Their O shape is a little more squared

Does anyone know if the Habitat Charlie Harper decks are BBS or something else? The sticker says made in Mexico, but it just has a single dot in the wood, not a Habitat etching.

I've done some more lurkin and found the measurements of the gx1000 8.75s very tempting. Their site says: 8.75" x 32.625" WB 14.5".

My current Polar from BBS IS 9 x 32.25". What is the length on the gx1000 deck equivalent to in BBS length?

I've heard BBS & psstix measure their boards in diffrent ways, i need some extra length on the Nose to be sure my foot doesnt come off.

Also someone know how the kicks are on a gx1000 8.75?

Prefer mellow kicks, steep ones make the deck feel so short

What manufacturers are your searching for?

A BBS, PS stix or good quality Mexican board with measurements like this or slightly smaller.

Deck size 31.75

Width 8.25

Wheel base 14.25

Nose 7

Tail 6.75

I'm also looking for more information on this board  https://toymachine.com/sect-eye-blue-7-88.html a deck like this would be ideal but I'm not sure who it's manufactured by.

Baker and DGK both pressed at BBS make an 8.25/31.875/14.25 and Traffic makes an 8.25/31.75/14.25 but they're likely on Clutch (also Mexican) wood now.

Toy Machine seems to be a mixed bag these days. Unless you have it in hand it could be hard to tell the woodshop. If you're ordering direct I'd hit them up on IG or through their site and ask about the board you're interested in specifically.

Process of deduction = most likely BBS as they have the dot in the middle of the front bolts, not PS Stix which always has the serial number, not Clutch as they usually have the stamped letter and number.

Also going by the previous boards I have seen from Habitat / Alien Workshop, I would say BBS almost a certainty.

I haven't seen any in person, but the length 32.625 with a 14.5 wheelbase makes for fairly long kicks, so you should be good with that one.  Curiously the 8.6 width is 33 long with 14.75 wheelbase, but that might not be wide enough for what you want, or even too long.

Even measuring some of the same woodshop boards, there are inconsistencies in measurements on paper when the boards are the same size and shape when put back to back, so maybe check with where ever you might be able to get one from first.

Def clutch. My buddy uses this same shape for his local brand I’ve skated around 10 of them. Look like this?

"The sticker says made in Mexico"

But as you said, there are quite a few other woodshops that have similar markings, so definitely worth checking other things like concave and feel of the board, or as has been said and done, contacting the supplier and asking where their boards come from.

Anyone have info on the WB measurements for Alltimers 8.25 and 8.125? I assume they are the standard generic BBS shapes that many brands use but cannot find a measurement anywhere online. Specifically looking at the newer Zered 8.25

I have the Jeron Wilson 8.25 that was produced by ps stix. It’s not the measurements that the shapes states. The tail is 6.5. It’s in that ps stix mellow concave and I love it.

I believe they are Dalian Huahong (China). They changed factory/wood about 2-3 years back and I've heard good things about the updated product (although I liked the old as well, but they broke a little too easily).

If you search around a little on the messageboard, there's some talk about em.

Check the skatedeluxe website. They usually have all the specs online. From the top of my head I would guess the wheelbase would be 14.25 for both. Not sure tho
