Have there really been any solid games? Puds v Malto was solid, Koston V Mo was solid. Was there anything else? I just hope this last game was a jab at the berrics at this point
[close]

Idk but nothing will be better than Griffin vs Giger.

IMO regular games of SKATE are pretty damn boring to watch with the same tired old tricks, but these dudes can actually make it highly interesting.
not questioning them being good at pulling weird tricks that looks horrible most of the time
but a game of skate is usually a game of consistency

we're all glad that that death blow gimmick isn't actually happening

The weird tricks big part of the allure, but I think it might be pretty entertaining. Would be more interesting to see them play in front of a crowd (so no re-do's) and see what they actually can do first try, but i'll probably be done in some random shed in northwest europe.

Tom Asta vs Luan Olivera introduced us to the most perfect Nollie Heel ever

This shit is so spread out I forgot that even happened. Running through the list and intake back my comment. I guess I'm old and there are too many ppl I have no interest in seeing

Lol. Eldee is definitely a human. He’s like a raider on horse back who’s kinda scared to do battle. Somehow he closes his eyes and swings his sword wildly and wakes up in a pile of dead orcs.

On point. None of the participants even seem to care.

Old BATB matches had really snappy editing, and just seemed more energetic in general. all the games just feel excruciating now, like watching a director's cut of a movie that your girl dragged you to.

I dont even think berries cares, it took them 3 weeks to upload crob and Kfatty skating like a bunch of tik tok influencers

I like how a bunch of the influencers that refused to go, seem to have started their own BATB even ripping off the Berries thumbnails hahah

Positive stuff for the berrics : it's doing numbers and the comments are mostly rooting for them

Negative : most of the skaters involved are probably trying to find a loophole in the contract to get out of this, aka, ghosting them

Contract? Some of the people involved weren't even asked if they wanted to participate.

Kfatty mentioned on nine club that skaters aren’t paid for batb, and that maybe the top 3 get something

I was laughing at the end of the Kelly/Crob match not cus it was funny but because of how hilariously shit this BATB is. Holy fuck I’m normally one of the first to defend the nine club when it gets shit on here, but what was the point of that?

Just a reminder that previous BATBs have involved 32 skaters, so compared to a usual BATB technically this one hasn't even started yet

Chris Roberts Vs. Kelly Hart - Round 1 is up

I will just safe you guys some lifetime: not worth watching

Chris Roberts is not funny at all and tries too hard

Besides that: Kelly still got propper pop

Gawwd I wish I would have taken this advise.  Hey Kelly, I know you read all this shit. Maybe chill with the jump roping for a bit and do some push ups! Wow.  The nollie Variel flip wish very poppy.  Anyways, yeah that was a cringy ass game.

I wouldn’t mind nollie 3 shuvs becoming trendy people start doing them like Luan. Fakie ghetto bird is actually pretty sick too, way better than the regular hardflip back one. No switch inward tho.

I also liked that they apologized for how slow the games have been coming out. Luan’s flat ground makes up for it.

Steve probably has him locked up and underfed in a bunker underneath the skatepark.  Can’t see why else he’d be there participating in this train wreck of a competition.

Blaming it on Covid too, kinda hard to believe covid is the reason it took 3 weeks to film and upload the crob vs Kfatty match
