Tammy is just an awful human being. The absolute worst kind of entitled. I have total confidence that if she weren't locked up she would be out drinking and driving today despite having already killed someone. That being said the OSW review of her porn is one of the funniest pieces of wrestling media I've ever consumed. I will never not laugh at her farting while she's trying as hard as she can to be sexy.

Anyone else watch triplemania? I watched collision and some of botb but I've seen enough FTR and njpw matches to not really care anymore so I flipped on triplemania and got sucked in. It was fun but pretty bonkers. I forgot just how much of lucha libre is just scattershot insanity. Baseball mascots having a "bull fight"...pagano coming out in a zoot suit to wrestle vampiro who looked like he could die at any second (and got hurt immediately)...a ref so old he takes longer than 3 seconds to get down for the count...random rap performances and ufc stars... Qt Marshall using barbed wire and light tubes to beat Penta...Sam Adonis doing some classic gringo heel race baiting and fat bloody old la parka doing planchas.. unprotected chair shots to the head galore ...there's a little bit of everything on these shows.

Anyways they had a battle royale that was basically the Jack Cartwheel show. If that kid ever gets on AEW tv their crowd is going to absolutely gobble him up. He appeals to the Indy marks, the flippy shit crowd, the insecure about their height crowd that also loves John Silver (who is built almost the same), and to dudes that me who think his arm tassels and tiny trunks make him look like a really short stripper. All he needs is a little bowtie and hat. Strap the rocket to him!

Interesting the next two eps of Dark Side are bash at the beach 2000 and bam Bam bigelow.   Didn’t realize he had a tragic outcome.   Finale is Janetty which will be interesting

Ah did not know that.    Bash at the Beach will be nice.   It’s been a bit since they did an event based one, even though I kinda already know the gist of this story.

Got my first 7 star match in fight forever entirely accidentally...I did a ladder match with Hangman and Cole that was a 10 minute spot fest with 2.99's for both guys and I found out that you can interact with the screens at the top of the ramp. Won't spoil it, but play around with them if you haven't. Gameplay is just so good, like the actual matches are insanely fun and just the right amount of hard/random to build tension in the match. If they put the money in to polish it up/actually finish it (how is there no commentary during the matches?) I feel comfortable saying it would be in contention for the best wrestling game of all time.

The homie here told me the janetty is going to be bonkers. I feel like everyone has a Marty story, so I can only imagine.

Bam bam seemed strung out towards the end from what I remember. I know he took that mma fight against kimo (that he swore was a work even though it clearly wasn't) and did some other questionable payday stuff like that. I have a generally positive recollection of him and as a performer he was fantastic even from the early days so I'm curious to see what I learn.

I just watched the JYD episode and it was pretty solid. Loved seeing/hearing Ernie Ladd and being reminded why he was one of the best talkers ever period bar none. Had to laugh at Tony Atlas making sure everyone knows about his foot fetish, regardless of the medium or relevance to the story or point he's making. I don't know that I agree about koko and Tony's conclusion that the reason Vince didn't push him like Watts was racism...I think Dog just didn't get over with the northern and Midwestern audiences that were a big part of the feds expansion. I also think Teddy Long is probably full of shit with that Watts bathroom story. Watts loved JYD and you could hear in his voice how much respect he had for him when he'd speak about him and I don't think he'd ever say something bad or derogatory about him. Shit he even brought Dog in first chance he got when WCW gave him the book, and that was after Dog betrayed him. I'd trust him over a dude like Teddy who I don't think ever even worked for Midsouth.

I might watch the Adonis and Abby ones later. I'm curious to see what his peers have to say about Abdullah since I don't think very much of him as either a worker or human being.

Yeah the Abby one didn't really change much of my opinion. Him being old and decrepit doesn't magically excuse being an elementary school dropout willing to do absolutely anything for even the slightest amount of money no matter who it hurt and lying so much he can never keep his stories straight. I don't believe 90% of what he says and I don't think anyone else should because the end game is always the same - he wants money. He's just a fat sloppy carny who stole the sheiks gimmick and deserves everything he got. The fact he wouldn't even comment on the hep c stuff speaks volumes about him. We're supposed to believe you managed to navigate 40 years of contracts with every major organization and have owned a fucking restaurant for decades but didn't know you were being sued because you can't read? Bullshit. He was scared to show up to court because he knew he was guilty and now he's trying to garner sympathy to keep the last bit of money he has and the worst part is seeing that his caregiver buys into it. Look at all the boys' reaction when asked and you can tell it's a lie.

Hannibal is also a gigantic piece of shit who shoot stabbed a ref in the ring at an Indy show last year so he gets zero sympathy from me as well. They're cut from the same cloth so it's only fitting they have the same blood running through them now.

Edit - Tony Atlas is also full of shit. First goes on and on about how Abby had razors on his fingers and used to cut you and stab you without your permission all the time, then says it's Hannibals fault because he let Abby cut him? I guess I shouldn't put too much stock in what city park dwelling resident foot fetishist saba simba says but that just rubbed me the wrong way. This is a situation where despite both being massive turds, one is clearly wrong.

I feel like I need to take a shower after watching that episode. Good work Busey.

Yeah it was a weird feeling Ep.   The fact that no peers outside of the nice guy Mick Foley and uh Tony Atlas wanted to be on camera with him spoke volumes.

I enjoyed Adonis, but it felt surface level in the way that a 42 minute run time will bite you sometimes.   I saw someone on Twitter comment that his Adorable promos would be regarded as face promos these days

Adonis episode was good. His LJN figure was actually one of my first two wrestling action figures (because who only buys one figure for their first wrestler).

I never knew him and Spivey buried the hatchet.

I’m conflicted about watching Abdullah. I have a feeling that that episode will make skin crawl. Also don’t want to watch hepatitis stories on my leisure time.

AEW dance off last night was entertaining. Big lol at Sammy being called the Spanish god and having absolutely no rhythm.

Still deciding if I should go to the ROH ppv tomorrow night. Between that, the Quasi premiere on Saturday, and Dinosaur Jr on Sunday, I may end up exhausted by Monday morning.

Re: Abdullah - It’s not that gruesome.   Nothing shown or discussed is that graphic that you haven’t seen in other matches like that

I have a feeling, based off B and G that Cesaro and PAC could face off

Jumping into the Abdullah one tonight. Wish I would have done that last night instead of watching Dynamite. Holy hell.....that main event was purely just a  high school play & so many times was there was blank time/space between moves, punches, blows, you name it. The fact that Moxely still insists on coming out with a fork as his go to & then spends all of this time with Adam Page only to be the one bleeding the most (besides Yuta who also was clearly acting & looked like he was in the circus) is comical. Even Omega looked disorganized. It just was not good by any means. I think I am done with AEW for a while.

Pretty good card.   Funny that they had to add Joe last minute bc he no longer needs to take time off to promote Twisted Metal bc of the actors strike

I don’t have Honor Club, but I think the story is that team has been trying to steal him away from Dark Order

Daniel Garcia aggressively dancing out of the turnbuckle at the ref made me laugh very hard.

That dance is gold. He threw a few of them down Vs Shibata last night.

Can’t wait to see someone in the NFL do it after scoring a td.

He’s a pretty damn good heel.   Loved him at Battle of LA.   Has really broken out of his shell compared to when he first debuted

He did this thing with Aubrey a week or two back where he like twirls her like they're going to properly dance (she's one of them ballroom chicks iirc so she like naturally goes with it) and then he starts doing the dance and she gets instantly disgusted and dives out of the ring while he's super confused for a moment, then goes right back to the dance. I fucking lost it. Now take that guy and put him in a storyline with Andrade and I promise you'll have a money feud.

I usually don't like Shibata matches and this one was no different but Garcia trying to pop his hips and start dancing as he's fading out of the sleeper was one of my highlights for sure.

I didnt have time to watch all of death before dishonor and rampage but I skimmed to see a few things. I had to stop for a second on the embassy 6 man because cheeseburgers illegitimate son Leon Ruffin appears to have somehow lost weight and Cage is bigger than ever. Cage looks kinda awesome in long tights too. I want to hear Cornette review that match just so he can react to the difference between the two. Apparently Cage is doing unhinged 80s style shouty roid and coke promos now too. Guys moving up my list.

The dark order have fallen so far they're now wrestling ROH hardcore matches against Stu, some big guy scared to blade himself properly, and Rob Zombie. So weird. Hell of a table bump from Stu but the most interesting thing about the match for me was trying to figure out if anti-abdullah was the bear country guy or not. I don't think he's big enough though

So fuckin stoked to see how over Willow is too. I  Love those wrestlers who don't even get pushed but are just undeniable. As cringeworthy as her promos and some of her character work is, Athena is top notch in the ring and that match was pretty awesome. They knocked lumps out of each other just like I was hoping. The first O face to start the ending sequence was one of the stiffest and most legit looking stunners of any sort I've seen in a while. Willow just crumpled on her shoulder. Classic story told well, and man both girls can really fucking work. High marks from me.

Komander wrestled some guy that I'm not sure if he was supposed to be an astronaut or an Italian motorcycle racer but he adjusts his mask more than anyone I've ever seen. How can Taurus wrestle with a full fucking bull head on and barely touch it but these guys with jockstraps and pantyhose can't stop touching them?

The main event for me was, of course, Dalton Castle and Joe. Two of my absolute favorite modern wrestlers for entirely different reasons. It was...ok I guess? It wasn't great like I was hoping. First there was a little more gaga than I would like for a title match...one of the best things about ROH castle was that he would get kinda serious when there was a belt in contention. Then it was a little bit of a style clash as both guys typically work best as technical powerhouses. Dalton can sell, but it's not what he does best so it never really got into second gear for me.

All time favorite wrestler?

This will probably change if you get me rambling long enough  to remember older ones but off the top of the dome these are the dudes who've probably influenced my tastes the most

- Dustin
- ECW RVD
- Taker
- WCW Jericho
- Muta
- Liger
- I think I'm actually ready to put MJF here. I can't recall ever having more fun with wrestling than I've had watching this kid. Everything he touches is just gold.

Modern faves

- Dalton Castle
- Swerve
- Ospreay and to a lesser extent Kenny
- Rhea
- Willow
- Penta & Fenix

Definitely forgetting a few

@busey Bam Bam Bigelow Episode ruled. Loved that DDP was in a bunch of it. Only remark is that I wish there was tad more digging into why Bam Bam was jumping around from WWf/E to WCW back to WWF then ECW. I know Andre put him in his place but it felt that it was just dropped. Honestly though I really liked that episode & commend you mates on it. Well done on having solid interviews from his family & just the archival footage.

Loved when WCW Jericho brought that list of 1000 moves to the ring to read of to prove to Dean Malenko he was the rightful champ.

thanks man! yeah, time limits for episodes always leave up for debate what to keep and what unfortunately gets cut. would love a special or something where we get to include all the incredible stuff that didn't end up making it in.

Well done on having solid interviews from his family & just the archival footage.

thanks man! yeah, time limits for episodes always leave up for debate what to keep and what unfortunately gets cut. would love a special or something where we get to include all the incredible stuff that didn't end up making it in.

I’d be fascinated to hear more about working for the Mexican judge

ROH World Six-Man Championship: Brian Cage, Bishop Kaun, & Toa Liona (c) vs. Master Wato, Ryusuke Taguchi, & Leon Ruffin

Dude Master Wato is real sick he was one of the best performers I saw when I went to the New Japan show in Tokyo a few months ago.
