always backed the fuck out of palace for their track selections; roy davis jr, origin unknown, peshay, ltj bukem, n-joi, etc. guess a lot of folk arent into that and it doesnt translate as well over the pond but atleast here tunes like that encapsulate a generation. lucas and jamal skating to gabriel, fucking brilliant.

I was a bit disappointed with the choice of tunes on Palasonic compared to the earlier edits, I thought Gabriel/PM Dawn/Seal were a bit bait. Peshay Piano Tune is the best suited on the video, if you're going for the 90's throwback Jungle/garage vibe then that's perfect, especially with most of the footage being shot in London. I think whatever earlier edit it ws with Gamma Player by Jeff Mills was the best they've done, amazing tune and edit. I don't think using dance music will ever go over fully in America as America just never seems to get it, It's always been the UK that's been at the forefront of those scenes, probably because we take more drugs.
In terms of music that you can't use, I wasn't a massive fan of that whole post-mosaic Habitat vibe of using pretty generic softboi indie, doesn't feel very dynamic considering some of the skating being done to it, I'm talking about a lot of the brown dickies/white tee/vulc shoes era, not just Habitat per se.
