The initial screening he was like 6 days off breaking his femur, of course he was on something. That being said inpatient rehab seems a bit much for infidelity issues.
Riley was in it quite a bit, he had it rough with Tony changing wives every few years.

Yeah, it was incredible to completely gloss over the rehab thing. Like just to mention rehab, but not what for, is very sus. If I had to guess, maybe sex addition? He mentions his issues with intimacy (lol obviously) during the doc, so that would track. It would also be funny is Hawk went to rehab for sex addiction.

Rodney spoke with poise. While Duane is a strange out of touch mess. How could anyone carry the same ideals for so long without learning a single thing.

Watched it last night and thought it was awesome. I thought it was weird that they talked about him going in to get some kind of treatment but then really expound upon it (addiction, depression, alcohol abuse?). My wife was speculating that it was probably inpatient therapy of some kind. I agree that they did leave it off on kind of a cliff hanger when talking about the long term effects of the injuries Tony has sustained (Lance said something along the lines that they will literally die on their boards). Loved the soundtrack. Had no idea that his mom had him when she was 43. It was cool that he included that he got a $20 million advance from Activision based on the popularity of his videogames. All in all, it was a great watch.

this kind of stuff is way more interesting than the usual hero story we get in documentaries. my only hope is that, much like say michael jordan or tiger woods, tony hawk is eventually covered with more attention given to the fact that he isn't perfect.

I was surprised they had so much Duane in it. It kind of made me sad knowing Jeff Grosso isn't around anymore and would have definitely have been apart of this.

Maybe it was me, but I found the whole "We're going to die doing this" section at the end to be a little odd. Maybe, it's just me in denial of aging and the fact that skating is going to leave myself chronically hurt.

Watched it, was pretty good.  Rodney and Lance stole the show.  Interesting discussion on aging at the end there.

Just finished watching it and man was that beautiful. I was so surprised they got Neil Blender to talk in be in it. Mullen spoke so eloquently especially at the end. There should a an hbo style documentary on him. Duane Peter's is a fucking asshole. Saying that shit about his dad right after he passed away. Tony showed class at that moment. The ending really got to me and made me think of my own mortality. When Lance talked about all the concussions and saying he may have CTE shocked me. Made me think that Tony may end up like his mom in the beginning of the doc which I really hope he doesn't. Overall I'll give this and 8.5/10.

Side note, in confirming the title of that book, I found out someone wrote "The Communist Manifesto but Tony Hawk Can Keep His Stuff."
