Anyone who likes short WB tried the Real/DLX True Fit shape?
I want to pull the trigger on Hermann's debut 8.5, but don't really know if I should be set on skating or hanging it. I liked Crail's 8.5" x 14" WB and the true fit doesn't seem too far off (at least on paper).
eh fuck it, i'm getting it. Still interested to hear if anyone enjoys the shape
I had the anti hero one and nollie tricks felt really hard on it. It was a fun board but too squirrelly for me. I like a slightly longer board. Width was fine I like a more symmetrical shape if possible and this one seemed to have quite a taper from nose to tail.
it anything it was an essential piece in solving my board madness
Been riding that deck for a few sessions running AF1 55's and 55mm Spit Lock-ins.
This board is so fuckin easy to handle. WB is small for sure, but that was part of the reason i was interested. In contrast to rawbertson. nollie shit has been sticking to my feet like mad. My nollie game is pretty weak, but the nollie tricks I do have are crispy and floated on the true fit.
Coming from a bout of mostly Crail and shop boards, the concave on that board is so fucking refreshing. Heelflips are automatically easier, back 3's are spinning better and faster, and my pop is feeling more snappy, responsive, and tuned.
No question in there, just reporting back. A little sad I've been liking it so much, cause now I gotta debate whether or not to get another one to hang....
