Little update to the quiver
-Heated Wheel Polarizer
-MPI Fiberglass cruiser from TGM Skateboards (Swapped bushings and Spitfire Superwides)
-Heated Wheel Fiber Rider (Shout out to
@FunnyBunny)
The Fiber Rider has taken some time to adjust to, it's much smaller than I expected. I've got size 13 feet so I end up using most of the deck. It is significantly flexier than the MPI (Fiberglass outer plies with wood plies in between) and you can really pump it which feels really crazy but is fun once you start going.
When I first start riding it there's always a bit of panic because it's so small but once I get my feet set and I get the feel, you can really rip on it.
I'm a bit ashamed to admit it, but I probably pull the polarizer out the least of the three. The negative concave just never really works for me, I never feel totally comfortable. I think some of that is the point but it takes all my mental energy to ride it. I'm always looking for a pocket or a tail to stabilize myself and then my food starts wandering over the edge. The flat concave of the MPI and the Fiber Rider at least make sense mentally.
Both Heated Wheels have the heated wheel trucks with bones soft bushings, no washers, essentially as loose as I can get them. Adjusting them is such a hassle, I've considered getting the Elephant tool from HW but haven't yet.
