just ordered one, will report back!

the neil blender fibreflex was my first ever flexy board and, man, sorta ruined me for other polarizers. i'm also curious to try a fiberrider and do a side by side comparison. does anybody else have both? very interested in opinions on the differences and/or tradeoffs between the two.

I haven’t spent a lot of time on my Polyflex yet, but my initial impression was that it doesn’t feel entirely different (flex wise) than my Formica version polarizer. Definitely not in the same flex ballpark as the Fiber Rider. But like I said, I need to spend a little more time on it to give a more informed opinion.

does anyone ave input on how the finer rider compares to the g and s ones? I want to try one but they're just so expensive. I really prefer the standard polarizer shape over the Hewitt, even though I do love mine

Haven’t skated the G&S ones yet, I ride my fiber rider to check the mail and it’s a highlight of my day

Little update to the quiver
-Heated Wheel Polarizer
-MPI Fiberglass cruiser from TGM Skateboards (Swapped bushings and Spitfire Superwides)
-Heated Wheel Fiber Rider (Shout out to @FunnyBunny)

The Fiber Rider has taken some time to adjust to, it's much smaller than I expected. I've got size 13 feet so I end up using most of the deck. It is significantly flexier than the MPI (Fiberglass outer plies with wood plies in between) and you can really pump it which feels really crazy but is fun once you start going.

When I first start riding it there's always a bit of panic because it's so small but once I get my feet set and I get the feel, you can really rip on it.

I'm a bit ashamed to admit it, but I probably pull the polarizer out the least of the three. The negative concave just never really works for me, I never feel totally comfortable. I think some of that is the point but it takes all my mental energy to ride it. I'm always looking for a pocket or a tail to stabilize myself and then my food starts wandering over the edge. The flat concave of the MPI and the Fiber Rider at least make sense mentally.

Both Heated Wheels have the heated wheel trucks with bones soft bushings, no washers, essentially as loose as I can get them. Adjusting them is such a hassle, I've considered getting the Elephant tool from HW but haven't yet.
If you see offensive comments, just let it go into one eye and let it out of the other eye, no tears and not sadness or anger.

I got the elephant tool and it kinda sucks to be honest. The flathead bit bent on mine and now I can't even get it in the truck bolt. I guess I was pushing the tool a little too hard tho. You can do the same job with a spanner and a bulky flathead screwdriver, easier too, although still a hassle. I've got mine in a place I like them and now I don't dare touch it haha.

That fiber rider is too fkn sick for words man! You got hella good griptape design skills.

@Enrico Pallazzo is an absolute MENACE. He put on a clinic today, ending with a polarizer send up this step up gap on @Francis Xavier’s custom set up. Insanity.

Thanks for letting me get a rip, now I’m feeling the urge to polarize.
