Every year we host a party with a theme...this year is "people who make you laugh". So I'm going for a deep dive into the SCTV catalog and going as "Harry the Guy with a snake on his face". I'm guessing one person will get it - but I'll be drunk and not caring all that much.

I’ve got several video lights with effects like lightning, a bullhorn and a very loud Bluetooth speaker. I’m going to hide in the shadowy area of my neighborhood and play horror movie excerpts at high volume to scare the young people. I’m fear itself for Halloween.

Cultural appropriation is stupid. You’re not stealing anything if everyone knows where it’s coming from. Also the fact that you can “appropriate” something in pop culture is proof of its acceptance and transcendence into the mainstream. Being accepted is not a negative.

Also I’m going to be a Starfleet officer again. This time it’ll be from Deep Space Nine, my favorite series.

god i hated this movie, i'm all for gore but this just seemed overly cruel and weird, like the director was getting off to it or something. apparently the sequel is supposed to be good though so i'll check it out

i haven't dressed up for halloween in like 5 years, my last costume was jason from friday the 13th 2, pretty easy and i still have all the clothes for it so i'm just going to be this again

I’ve always wanted to be a double sided curb or a jersey barrier for Halloween. But neither of those ideas seem doable. Well, maybe the jersey barrier could work but a double sided curb just seems like it turn out to look like you were just an asshole trying to look like a dirty French fry or something stupid

Man, I used to have the real thing. Except I worked there during the end and it eventually just ended up being "wear a black tee and your name tag." And eventually, "please just show up to sell everything in the store."

Used to challenge myself to see how high I could be at the beginning of my shift and still function/see if anyone could actually tell. It got pretty impressive. Good times, bad pay.
