How much are they retail? and are they BBS or a special wood shop?

I'm getting old and fat like Gonz. Maybe I can learn backside lip slides on curbs? Probably not, but I am still tempted to hunt one down on SSD for the challenge...

I was skating mine exclusively and got really used to it but it eventually made my go-to 8.5” board feel tiny. I have 215’s and 60mm wheels. Took a few bushing swaps to get it right

well, they probably take twice as long to route and sand as a regular board, then there's the mold, then ect....

a skateshop chain in my country has some of the ssd beemers on their online shop but they are selling for 3 times the cost of a regular board (like 200 usd) and I dont know if i can justify the purchase lol

The MSRP on them is $125 , resellers usually post them for 300+… maybe your shop is splitting the difference… still pretty steep

yeah ill skip on it, realized I would then end up needing 10" trucks and probably want to make it a christmas complete and be $500 in the hole hahah.

I got lucky and was able to get one. I did some frontside ollies on a ramp with it and they felt really cool. Some parks and spots I go to get a little boring, so I like to have a shaped board in the car to spice things up. I'm gonna need to switch to Thunder 181's asap though. I was fooled by the marketing; no matter what the stage, Indys just don't work right for me

I wanted one as a dog pulling sled but my homie gave me a nice sculpture cruiser deck. So I can't really justify the purchase. But would probably be great for those 25 mph mushers
