It was kinda funny when they caught an attitude when I told them I’d pass. Like I wasted their time asking for the real pic.

Figured out that me and liquor don't mix. Used to drink a handle and a half and ~45 beers a week and I was a total piece of shit asshole while drunk, and spent my days in a state of crazy anxiety until my first drink. Now I drink three natty daddy's a night, which isn't great, but the anxiety isn't so bad and is vastly cheaper. I'm not an asshole while drinking either, and don't black out, waking up worrying about what I said.

So it's better but not ideal. I don't have health insurance so I can't really seek help that way at the moment, but getting rid of liquor has been very good for me. Baby steps.

Went skating for the first time in three months and got closer to learning a trick.

But it was only for 30 minutes in a crowded, indoor skatepark where helmets are mandatory, and because it was crowded I indirectly got into a guy's way and he took a hard slam. It's pretty much the only indoor park during the long winter. That whole environment just makes me not want to skate.

Stoked: Christmas off and paid. One of two days we are closed a year (the other is Thanksgiving). I would normally be bummed because it falls on one of my normal days off and I am missing out on a shorter work week, however we get paid for it regardless so it’s like an extra day in the pay period and that’s critical since I was sick and had to take some time off after I burned all my paid leave on vay cay.

Not stoked: The old lady (ex actually) is acting up right on schedule right before Christmas so plans are up in the air and at this point most likely shot. She rather “prove a point” than simmer down and enjoy the Holiday and have a nice peaceful, civil day.

That’s the true madness. Crushing on someone hard where there’s obvious feelings for each other only to be pushed aside by one persons lack of commitment. Especially when the physical is already there. Shit hurts when you see them being flirty with other people.
