Last year (?) Indy put out "built to grind" shirt/stickers that was a direct rip-off the More Beer album cover by FEAR. I was surprised Indy put that shirt out, considering the Cross situation, and the insinuations FEAR seemed to be making with their album cover...not to mention FEAR's lyrics have not really...aged well. Lots of bands/album covers they could have picked, but they went with that one, for what ever reason.

There's an entire list of off limits symbols issued by the German authorities so the people would be aware of what constitutes brandishing a hate symbol. And an SS iron cross is one of them.

Now, if you want to go into semantics of "ahhchually, the tips are slightly convex, not concave in the Indy logo", then sure, be my guest. But if you need to go into such minutiae to justify a symbol/logo - it's flawed to begin with.

The symbol and discussion is so charged it's been co-opted by Tim Pool. The logo may have been "harmless" before it was dropped, now it is anything but. Your trivialising babbling doesn't change that.
