It needs round laces, flat laces through those types of eyelets/eye stays are gross.

Have any of you skated the Vans Ultrarange Pro II?



They look like just what I want. Good toe shape, good tongue and ankle, a traditional cupsole without foxing tape that would screw up my flick, and a two piece toe cap (although not stitched)... I cannot stand to look at one piece toe caps (I know I'm in the minority.) Somehow I never noticed this model. They are kinda dorky but I'm kinda dorky 

I'm sure most Vans folks wouldn't be in to this model but have any of you technical cupsole folks tried this one out?

I couldn’t even get my foot in the 1. Wonder if they changed the fit.

Go up a half size, they might rub your achilles at first but break in after a day or two. They are some of my favorite shoes, but probably not great for people with wide feet.
