There's a slip on cupsole of the Veer coming out soon. All you slip on cupsole wishers will be hyped I think.

Damn. I’m pretty split on wanting a cupsole slip-on and not wanting to support Etnies. Hopefully Proper can get one out...

Stoked on the Carrolls in both light blue and white and the Spanky’s in white/green. Definitely going to add those to the pile of shoes to skate.

This photo is like from 2014 i suppose, its from the time Jake was getting on Cons and travelling skating with the polar guys and even went on tour with krooked. So i assume the shoe was a team edition.

The green on those spankys looks like gumsole is the color really that different?

It's just hard to see in the photo but it's a dark olive.

I quite liked that Emerica catalogue too.

Yes, I was the one who said that. Not sure if you know how it works or not but these catalogs are made about a year in advance to show shops meaning all this was put together a long time ago. The Winkowski Omen Hi is vegan and stuck around this year. With that said, more vegan things are coming.

Sad truth though, the joslin 2 in black/white is probably the closest thing to a black suede dunk we will see for years... and it has a goddamn strap on it.

This might be a reach, but they kind of remind me of the Circa 205. Seeing Tave skate them in person and how amazing his tricks looked in them, i definitely wanted a pair. Joslin 2's are a good step away from looking too much like the Marana

There were plenty of videos put out, as well as the advertisements made for Joslin's first shoe, stating that not many people get pro models, and he's lucky he was chosen to get one. Im assuming that they cant just give Sheckler back the Marana after literally every team member from all branches of Etnies has been given colors and variants of the shoe, and everyone but Joslin is stuck getting colorways indefinitely

Trying to get this sorted out. It's little bit of a challenge getting a vegan shoe made and actually sell well with the vegan market being pretty small and most people wanting durable skate shoes that last longer like suede compared to canvas. You're definitely being heard and there are some vegan models coming out!

Yeah, we've got the one Winkowski Omen Hi for this Spring season and then a couple coming out throughout the year. The next big catalog is actually Fall 2020 which has at least 2 vegan models in it including a slip-on.

We currently have 3 vegan models on the site right now. I understand it's not a ton but just stoked to have something.

vans "california" did a "era high CA" weatherized shoe a few years back. i had a pair (blue ones) that i wore religiously through the winters for the past few years and finally put them to rest. if they did something closer to these lines (get rid of toe cap stitch, ditch the hiking eyelets, gussetted centering tongue straps, get rid of the patterns and stick with solid colors) i'd 100% buy another pair.



don't forget that these shoes literally existed in journey's for years and that you never saw them on anyone's feet...
