I had the brown yogi, and that’s what this adidas shoe very vaguely reminded me of.
Ipath had the sickest silhouettes, but that yogi, and several other shoes were made out of the most plastic ‘leather’ ever. I’d still be way more stoked on of course grasshoppers, but also cats, and the Karl Watson’s were ill too, than damn near anything I see these days. They had interesting shit. It turned into a lame self parody, but....yeah I’d be down to skate some cats.

The white/blue silo SC are definitely going for the Koston 1 vibe, but the shoe is kind of already ruined for me since it had that nasty scheme sole before.
I think ES is doing better, but so incredibly slow.

this shoe is obviously a homage to crispy chicken tenders with ranch dressing, the tenders being represented by the brown leather, the dressing being immortalized by the fresh white sole. the black foxing stripe representing black pepper corn.

Does it bother anyone else that Vans always seems to default to a black foxing stripe? I know in this case is probably Reynolds choice, but it nukes a lot of otherwise good colorways in my opinion. I usually prefer no stripe at all, but even complimentary or tonal to the upper seems better than black most of the time.

I can't tell for 100% sure, but it looks like the tongue is black in that photo at least.

The og sole on a 92 cut is actually maybe the perfect shoe. Fuck duracap, the og sole is so much better
