Maybe I'm out of line or something but I don't get the last resort knobriding I've been seeing. They're essentially the exact same as converse/vans/Nike blazer shoe.
Having had a pair of polar jack purcells a while ago and having seen the polar Nike blazers, I'm not really shocked that they copied other designs. Must be a lucrative venture for them, but still, I'm not going to plop a hundred for bootleg looking versions of the exact same shoe I can get at my local on sale for $50.

They're offering the exact same product that other companies have put on the market, and put on the market over 50 years ago. They're not making dope silhouettes that offer something new. It looks like the exact same as those bootleg cheap forever 21 shoes but without any logos.
Polar is a pretty big brand at this point, they're far from little guys.

Yeah they're exactly like cheap forever 21 shoes. Except that they're made of higher quality materials than nikes and they have a dope classic look. Sorry they don't have air bubbles or Nyjah and cost more than 35 cents. Have you considered maybe you're just not their target audience and, taking that into account, maybe your opinion on them is superfluous?

This is the closest I'll come to buying their quattro (which was my first ever skate shoe so VERY nostalgic for me) but I probably won't because they'll never put the original sole on there.

I don't need the air bubble but damn the OG quattro sole was so sick.

This is easily the worst Supreme X Vans collab ever. Will people buy them? Obviously. It's a shame because they have done some great ones, like the corduroy lampins among others. These are just really bad though

Feel the same way about the Rowans. Digging this dark blue white accent colorway everyone’s been doing this past season. Also skate Varix looks tempting? And I don’t really the puffy cupsole usually.

I seem to recall Tyson Peterson wearing some for a minute, but cannot find the footage on his Instagram or anywhere.

I think the Varix is a 'lifestyle' shoe, and not part of the skate line? I remember seeing it at Foot Locker or something when it came out. Makes sense for the vibe of a Boys Of Summer collab, but that's probably why no one on the team wears it regularly.

I think it's kind of cool how they sometimes mix in a non-skate shoe with a skate collab, like when they did those Sci-Fi Fantasy sandals. Some skate brand is definitely going to put their name on one of those new Crocs-style rubber slip-ons.
