I am actually really liking these the rectangular eyelets are pleasing.

The mids definitely look a lot better. Maybe it’s because the extra material helps make the rubber layer look smaller and less dramatic.

I know during the 90s etnies changed their entire company logo about 4-5 different times. It's absurd how many logos etnies has had. I've included a photo of every logo I could find.

Somewhere I read that the logic behind that logo is that pants cover some of it so it will look like Adidas 3 stripes

Not a terrible looking shoe, but I am curious why the outer suede layer gets lower right where the ollie wear area would be.  I would think it would get higher here for increased wear protection?  Looks to be horizontal and vertical stitching where the ollie wear area is - not sure how that will hold up.
