Been thinking about a set of 55s for years, never got a set.
Now I am scared that for some reason the new ones are trash, so I had to get a set just in case that might be my last chance.

I did the opposite. I just put in an order for the new 8.5s 9s in black.

These new Aces will drop just before my Indy 169s completely eat the dust, and i'm gonna make the jump.

Ordered from a local shop here in Japan. They won’t arrive here until sometime in June, apparently, and they said if I wanted a bigger size to put my name down and they’ll grab some for me.

They said ¥8600, which is like $78.50 US.

Indy titanium prices..

Think that’ll steer a good amount of people away. That could be conversation rates or no?

I've been saving my pennies the last few weeks for some 55's.  Hoping to cop this week. I'm on self isolation from work for the next 2 weeks, so lots of time to get my legs back.

Conversation rates and shipping. Regular Aces are about $9 less.

I called a shop yesterday that had teased their release to ask about them.  According to the kid working the shop, they were going for $30 per truck.  Not sure if that's accurate, but I'll try a pair for $60.

Bonkers had the af1´s in their story and it said available on 16.04. I asked them and they said that they hope that af1´s will arrive until then. Skatedeluxe replied to me saying that they will be available in the next weeks.

*both shops are located in Germany

** Update I think they arrived at Bonkers they have them in their story and it say´s coming soon

That's how much basically every truck with forged plates and hollow kingpins & axles go for, so I'm really a bit perplexed at this point.

Very true!  I'm curious if there's actually anything to the "proprietary casting technique", or whatever was mentioned before.  Definitely seem steep, but I can directly compare them to my v2 44's I have on my cruiser.  Currently quarantining for 14 days, so if I can get them this week, I should be able to break them in and report back.

Why do they always make those round cavities that dont help with an inverted kingpin? Straight walls to lock in the nut seems like such an easy thing to put on new updates that doesn't compromise anything, yet they always make it round.
Anyway, I hope they end up making some Hollow versions in the future. That was one of the things I was mostly expecting from this new update and I was a bit let down tbh...
and also, 66euros? On that website that's like 10 bucks more than Normal Indys, Venture V-lights or Thunder Lights (hollow kingpin + forged baseplate). They are reaching with that price if you ask me. When I first got Ace's they were like 50 to 55Euros a set. I guess the hype is getting a bit to their heads.

Please do, because I want to hear about what the deal is with these trucks.

The pricing is a little disappointing but if everything Pulsifer is talking about comes to pass and it makes for a better truck, then fuck it. Either way Im getting at least a singular set of 66s on Friday.
ok thanks

to all people wishing a 8.75 ace, try film 155mm, honestly it's really close to an ace, you can carve easily. i dont know if it's not wheelbity at all like ace which i love because i rode my friend's film not long enough but they are really great.

If the new measurements from Poland are correct the Af1 66s will also have 155mm hangers.

For any pals trying to extrapolate the pricing from the Canadian shops. The AF1 pricing is sitting right in the middle of Indy forged hollow and titaniums. Our pricing is fucked up here so I don't know how accurate it'll reflect what ya'll end up paying down there. I'm guessing it won't be that bad.

Whoever gets them first, if possible, weigh them suckers.
