I just posted this in the set-up thread, but I'm pretty hyped on the drippy eye lady and the board in general and wanted to throw the photo down here too. I took a used Welcome deck my old roommate left at my house, sanded the graphic off with old griptape (which took an ungodly amount of time, should have gotten grittier sandpaper and done it in 10 minutes), and tried to do an image transfer with Mod Podge. The black didn't turn out very dark and the image wasn't clear, so I just mod podged a photocopy onto the board and painted on the sealer over it.

The picture is from the Denver band, Night of Joy.

That's pretty rad. Does the color stay on the grip?

Yup! Quite well. The only thing to watch out for is putting the paint on too thickly. It reduces the grip if its too sloppy.

Hey, sorry, my bad, didn't mean to ruffle your feathers or bring any negativity. Some of the lines on my moniter just looked kinda pixel-y, but they seem smoothed out in that double posting shot from slightly further away. They're really good though, how did you go about making them?

These are seconds from the factory I work with. They're an awesome shape, but they're all pretty warped. I got them for a good deal, as I don't intend for these to be ridden!

Yeah the cosmic is the crowd pleaser. I wanted to do a crazy abstract, but I figured since this was being shown in public, I should stick with the winner.
Anyway, heres the completed mural, installed at a bar in Northeast LA.
