I watched Sour Grapes last night. A very interesting, well paced, humorous, and sometimes hard to believe, documentary about the world's most expensive wines, and those who collect/counterfeit them. It bore several similarities to King Of Kong, for those of you into wacky true story type flicks.

I have no interest in wine at all, but this is a great documentary. I am fascinated by scam artists. It was well put together.

the last season was great. looking forward to rewatching it and pirating the new season.

just started the OA last night. pretty good so far.

only two more episodes of trailerpark boys and ive got that one crossed off. great series, but the netflix episodes are not as good as the originals. still need to check out the movies.

I finished the first season the other day. It's really good but totally leaves you hanging at the end. Hopefully there will be a season 2...

What a terrible show...I admit the first 2 episodes are good...but the middle it got stale and at the end it was super fucking lame. I just couldn't buy that HAP character.

not sure if its on netflix, but just started "channel zero", and 2 episodes in it seems kinda promising. kinda out of horror movie ideas right now, so thats an interesting option.

Just started "Magicians" on Netflix. Seems alright so far. Normally "fantasy" type stuff isn't my thing but it looks to be promising.

I tried to watch Minimalists or Minimalism or whatever the fuck it's called last night. I thought it might be enlightening.. but it's just about two rich dudes who could afford to quit their jobs, got rid of their junk, yet still buy top of the line shit. They now travel around giving hugs to people and promoting their low-clutter lifestyle. Which would be easy when you can afford to travel and not work.

managed to watch 5 or 6 episodes of the shooter while not getting any of my dissertation written (600 words to go -3 days left)

Pretty mindless shit - not as good as the book, or the markymark film but when you need a distraction from the thing you really should be doing it kinda works

6/10 - can't recommend but will watch the rest for some unknown reason

I made it six episodes before reading a synopsis. It was as exciting as watching the show (not very). The premise is the most interesting part.

Cheap Thrills is a pretty good flick. Not going to win any academy awards but worth a watch if you're bored... The story centers around two old skateboard buddies and has Agent Orange in the soundtrack.

New season of Maron just came on, its the final season. I like Maron more than Louie. Louie got way too dark for me on season 4, i watched the latest season but completely forget if i liked it or not. Maron has that perfect balance of dark humor

I listen to Maron because of his guests but I think he's kinda a hack....and while it's accurate but it's annoying that in they have writers who can write better shit for him to say....but he's always the weakest character in every scene....

There's been a ton of whiny comedians that are funny......

I watch 'please like me' right now it's ok....

Just finished it tonight, really enjoyed it. Only really knew Aksel Hennie as the chemist from Interstellar before this.
