probably been mentioned but the movie upgrade was a lot of fun. i'm sure you could nitpick the story if you wanted to but the plot was creative and there was some good action scenes... good sci fi.

Ace recommendation, just watched this because of your post yesterday night. Definitely a good sci fi flick

Upgrade is SO much fun!  I remember the Ringer referring to it as a Movie Pass come up, so I kind of recoiled at that at first.  When it came to Netflix I watched it with my girl and it was so much fun!

If you like Peep Show, Back is def worth using the AMC+ free trial.  Mitchell & Webb still got it

Derry Girls is fucking hilarious. It's like an Irish female version of The Inbetweeners

This new show is pretty cool on Netflix, predator on the Thailand/Goa hippie trail in the late 1970s:

And hey, Training Day is on Netflix – one of the best-written movies of all time!

They just added Waterworld back on. Yes, it's a terrible movie. Yes, I absolutely love it.

No disrespect to my man in the oil tank

Yer like a turd that won't flush

On HBO is Exterminate All The Brutes

4 part documentary that examines the the history of white supremacy & the effect on the world.

Fun fact: Henry Ford donated the proceeds from ford vehicles sold in nazi Germany straight to the nazi party & gave Hitler himself $300,000 for a birthday gift. In fact, the nazi war machine wouldn't have been what it was without the help of General Motors & Mercedes.

I feel like they should show this documentary in schools & was wondering if anybody else here saw it?

I've watched the first one so far. Really good.

You and the D00D have turned this thread into a horrible head-on-collision between a short bus full of regular kids and a van full of paraplegics.

Biggest obvious was the hiring of two nazi scientist Werner von Braun (Saturn 5 rocket creator) and Schrodinger (famous quantum physicist)

The Pharmacist was a decent watch. Too long but that seems to be the formula now. It reminded me of Dear Zachary at times. Dan Sr is so wholesome.

I'm in NY and dont really watch foreign language flicks, cant concentrate on other details, thanks for the rec though.

Also just finished THEM on prime. Thought it was well done, not perfect but def rec a watch if you're whiteness isnt too timid. Side note, I wasnt into Get Out, or US by Peele, thought this was far superior.

Huge Rec for Sasquatch on Hulu.  Just dropped today.  3 part doc that definitely isn’t what it first appears to be.   Good 4/20 related viewing if that’s something you need

I'm 3 episodes in to THEM, and so far really enjoying it.  When I first saw ads for it I assumed it would be a straight rip off of US.  I'm glad I gave it a chance.

Get hungry on it!

That’s a weird show to “enjoy” as it’s such a thoroughly unpleasant show.   Read an essay on it that called it “degradation porn” and it pretty much hit the nail on the head about what I thought was kinda distasteful

Maybe enjoy isn't the best word to describe it, but it's had some good scare moments, it's suspenseful, and has kept me interested enough to keep watching.

Get hungry on it!

It is unpleasant, but that's the point. Like I said I think its well done, visually, storytelling, message wise. The  whites, well most depicted, are the Monsters. Places like Levittown were real.

Not sure if anyone suggested this, but watched Prospect the other night and found it well-acted and cool art style for a sci-fi movie:

Great recommendation. Watched with my wife and then Again with my daughter

I recently watched this show Dublin Murders on Hulu. I enjoyed it overall, but even though it was based on a different series of books, a lot of it definitely felt a lot like True Detective season 1: Ireland edition. I've watched the first season of TD to death though, so I was fine with it.
