GET ON THAT SHIT ASAP!

Just finished Season 1. Don’t feel like writing a novel like my previous post . Just wow so epic. Love the new setting for season 2.

Super random, S2 E2 @ 14:16 , some fat old timer wearing a Hawk hoodie with a skeleton graphic. Can already tell… this season gonna be wild

Just wait til you see all the Jason Dill/Ziggy Sobotka NY photos from the 00s

The Rehearsal might be the craziest and most thought out tv show I’ve ever seen

Me and my wife finished the 1st season of Kingdom on Netflix. Really cool zombie show that leaves with a sick cliffhanger.

Thank you!   I’ve always preferred it the most because you can feel how fun it was to make and I personally love the Julia Roberts thing.   You can only do that move once and I think it was the perfect movie to do that in

Supposedly there’s a prequel coming with Gosling/Margot Robbie.   Not sure what it’s about, but if I was pitching it would be about Matt Damon’s parents with a young Danny Ocean

Just finished The Gentlemen on Netflix, rather enjoyed that.

Stoked they have season 2 in production, will be binging again when it drops next year.

Watch Mobland/Gangs of London if you need more like that.   Not as light of a tone, but MobLand at least has Guy Ritchie involved

Thanks I will definitely check Gangs of London, but do you have to have Paramount Plus to watch Mobland?
Would love to see it but don’t have a subscription.

Might be on Showtime…sorry not totally sure

If anyone likes British detective shows, Netflix has dipped their toe in with Dept Q.  I’d say a level above the usual BBC fare.   Written by the Queens Gambjt/Oceans 11 guy

It is a paramount jawn. I have it through prime, initially to watch champion's league, but then finding out they have good shows too.

You and the D00D have turned this thread into a horrible head-on-collision between a short bus full of regular kids and a van full of paraplegics.

Started Severance tonight. This show is so beautifully shot that I sometimes have a hard time paying attention to the dialogue.

Just to rent at the moment, but Los Frikis is about a 90s Cuban punk band outlawed by Castro.   There’s a doc out there about them too

Dear Atiba,

I thought Den of Thieves 2 completely sucked . Didn’t even finish the movie, rarely do that . Den of Thieves on my list of all time fav heist movies, so that played a factor . Many times with any style , one & done the best

Seeing a movie in the theater warps experiences to the positive (particularly in Jan when you’re desperate).   I dont recall raving about it, a C+ would have been my rating - but I also wasn’t super emotionally attached to the first one despite enjoying it

Fair enough , any movie you see in the theatre amplifies. Guarantee I would have enjoyed it more if I saw it in the theatre . Just Den of Thieves, all time to me. So underrated. That first film so impactful on me for various reasons . Unpopular opinion , I rank it above Heat . And Heat one of my all time fav heist films

I get it - I’ve sat through 4.5 awful Jurassic Parks trying to catch that high from the original and I think I’m going to be sucker enough to see the new one as well

Was telling my dad he should at least try s2 of Rehearsal and I was bummed to find out Malcolm Gladwell did a very similar story to this season many years ago, but it was based on the social conventions in the cockpit of Korean Air pilots between superiors and subordinates

Watched Season 2 of Squid Games.

I went in with really low expectations, but it has been far better than I expected.
