Fuck boardparadise those fools are assholes. Tried talking to them about their prices changing and got a 4 word response with no period sent from an iPhone. Followed up more thoroughly and got an even shorter reply. Fuck them.
Side note, zumiez updates every morning at 8am; hit that shoe sale and skate sale thread first thing in the morning to catch blessings. Got 6 sets of ventures this morning and 4 sets of thunder for $.99 per truck. All undersized af but good for the cruisings/trade at shop lol.
Ya I'm still waiting on 2 of the 3 decks I ordered from them. The one I bought through ebay was shipped same day since I guess they know they can't fuck around with ebay and thats probably a fair portion of their sales but the ones I ordered through their site (the same day as the ebay order) were "awaiting fulfillment" for a week and after I emailed them about it they gave me a tracking # that says that USPS still hasn't received the item 3 days later. They can't really claim the price was a mistake at this point since they already sold/shipped me one deck at that price, so I guess they're trying to drag it out long enough that I get frustrated and cancel the order or something. Every time I try to call it says they're not available and the VM memory is full. I'm going to file a BBB report if I don't get my decks by the end of next week.
On the other hand, the homie Glennzig at Killer Skate Park & Shop has some really nice on clearance decks for around $40 and free shipping if you spend $100. Emailed him and got a response same day, box was shipped out that afternoon and will be here tomorrow. Total time from order to receiving items will be 4 days. Those are the kind of shops we need to support and we need to make sure people know about how shady and greedy places like boardparadise are.
