Anyone familiar with the standard concave with DOA? mellow/steep?

Even if you get a flat as fuck don't be scared of it. It's not as flat as you might think, and it's actually a really nice change of pace from most of whats on the market. I'm skating one right now and loving it.

I'm pretty sure they are although I'm not the best at identifying generator vs bbs. The boards have this sticker on the top, so maybe generator?

I'm not sure where the lower quality concerns came from, these boards seem to have nice wood.
That being said, primitive could be using different woodhops for their collabs/pro models and team models.

BBS/Generator is the same thing. BBS is the woodshop, Generator is the distribution. That's not the standard generator warning sticker, but they do plenty of customized shit so who knows.

Is there a number stamped under where the sticker was? I think BBS decks usually have that (indicating where in the stack it was), but I might be thinking of something else - someone more knowledgeable can either confirm or correct me on that.

DLX is the only company I know of to do the roman numerals through bbs.

I’ve noticed from a lot of bbs/gen boards there’s at least some kind of imprint. Even if it’s a dot. I don’t know if other wood shops do it, but bbs/gen boards usually do. Dlx has the Roman numeral. Baker does the size. My local shop openly uses bbs/gen and they’re boards have like an imprinted dot.

Edit... I guess what I’m trying to say is, if your looking for more clues on were that primitive came from, look for a possible stamp.

The way I see it, I really lucked out on the Primitive sale. I actually like one out of the two graphics I got, and I really dig the shapes. I got one shitty but entirely skateable Nick Tucker board, and one Wade D board that I quite like. A less fortunate homie of mine ordered three boards at the same size as me and got three of the exact same Nick Tucker boards. Even at these prices that pushes right up to the edge of acceptability as a consumer even to me. I know they're trying to get rid of those unsellable Tucker decks, but Jesus God, spread that shit out among the suckers on a purely ethical basis. I was also able to get my nonskater brother the perfect birthday gift in the form of a Dragonball hoodie at 40% of. This is one of those rare gifts that you know intrinsically the recipient is going to love based on how well you know them.

Computer Numerical Control, basically you program the shape you want and a computer controlled saw cuts it out. These are the boards shaped like Goku's head or a bottle of Siracha or whatever.

Pennswood also does the mold position numbering, but they do it on the bottom between the tail mounting holes.
