I think they are just jealous they missed out, I know I am. I'd take 3 BBS decks for $60 any day. And I have been riding nothing but PS the last few months.

I’m down for the team and the videos but DBZ, Rick and Morty, and sriracha collabo?

I'm not buying any of that shit, but if them selling it allows them to pay their riders then good for them.

All the last few pages of this thread have shown is that you all make too much money or you still live with your parents. Wasting money on fuckin PRIMITIVE BOARDS and buying ugly trucks from zumiez....

1. "too much" is really relative. Maybe we just have depression and like to shop to fill the void and fill the void a bit better with deals on crap.

2. I got 10 pairs of Indy 149 hollows for $10 a pair. No funky colorways here...

You seem pretty pissed at people supporting Primitive. Don't understand. Also, if it hasn't been made clear through the posts by now, this thread is split between broke fools (young and old) and hoarders. If you ask me, people spending $50 on a pair of trucks are the real ones who make too much money. Even at my local I beg and scour for deals. Always been that way since a kid. Can't help that I was brought up poor, even though I make an adult wage now.

Are willing to sell a set of unused 149 hollows?

When you leave the beginner level and start to do some grinds and slides, then you realize that your gear is not going to last more than few weeks and you understand that you have to spend your money wisely.

I don't know why people pretend graphics don't matter and they don't care. So much of what makes a skate company great is their aesthetic.

I'd probably do something else if I looked over at my board and saw a Rick and Morty graphic but I'd be hyped to skate if it had a sick graphic from a company like Transportation Unit, Polar, Quasi, etc.

I also know what it's like to need to save some money. I'd rather skate a quality blank than some wack shit but the main thing is just to go skate no matter what you're sliding on.

What if I told you, you could do both. BBS is great wood and spray paint can change any graphic.

I love Quasi, but if another PS Stix brand had $20 decks I would stock up.

Yeh, makes sense to me. If I had a a garage I'd be down to sand and clearcoat them.

You don’t even really need a garage, you can do that shit on a balcony. In an alley.

i feel you. one or two runs would have been perfect.  its when they take up half their catalog with silly colabs which overshadows their original art (which i like).  if im on sw or whatever searching by brand and i select primitive i have to filter through so much shit i dont want to get to the good shit.

for example i had the shane graphic where he is a robot under the skin.  loved it.  i would like to cop the recent deck where the skull is floating out of the animal head.  their soft good are quality.  i have a few jackets/sweaters from them and they are all well made and often on sale.

also, yea sw is on some bs with the markups.  $71 deck 'on sale' for $52? come on now

Lots of effort and time put into erasing the kook graphic off your kook board, but at least you got it on sale right?

I got lucky at NJ skate shops web store and copped for 75 when they did the back to school sale. Ordered Friday and still haven’t gotten usps movement though.

alternative theory

SW is future-proofing their site, for tariffs, trade wars, and industry demand for a raise in deck prices. I've been seeing plenty of places now sell boards for $60-$65

Yeah I went and got those Vans Saddie Sid Pro and they messaged saying they sold out and aren't going to re-up. Super bummed.

It's just MSRP shit. That deck is not on sale, that's the normal price.
