Concrete-visionary’s sale is up
15$ crupies
24$ colours deck
34.99 fp shoes
[close]

Those are some insane prices on boards, any idea on the dimensions (WB) and which woodshop they are from?

I think they're all 14.25 wb (all the ones I've seen on other sites are listed as 14.25). I have no idea about the wood shop but at those prices it pretty much has to be chinese wood right? There were a few guys on here who got them last time they were on sale but I don't recall anyone giving an opinion on them one way or another. I might take the plunge but I just can't feel confident about buying a "carbon fiber" board for $30 no matter who's endorsing it.

Probably not taking the plunge with the boards, the wheels though, at $15 each seem like they are a good gift for homies. They don't lurk Slap or follow Ben Degros religiously (praise be his name), so as long as they are white and skinny I doubt they will complain.

In Ben we trust.

I got a set of slightly used crupies in a wheel lot I bought on ebay a while ago and they were decent. Not quite at the F4/STF level but definitely better than most shop wheels. They're not the most comfortable ride but they slide fairly well. The issue I had with them was the shape. They were super skinny - like an anorexic version of a spitfire classic skinny - and that just doesnt work that well on the rough, cracked, debris covered streets I do most of my skating on. I ended up donating them, but if you live somewhere with smooth ground or primarily skate parks or ramps then I would definitely pay $15 for them.

Also forgive me if someone already posted this, but Coda has a decent little sale going on. $35 boards and $25 Jivaro wheels as well as fair prices on Indy standards/reds/jessup. I grabbed a board and a set of wheels and it came out to right around $70 after shipping so it's not like a black friday blowout or anything but still a good deal. I'm not 100% sure on this but I think they use Chapman wood for their boards.

Good for the price but not great, you get what you pay for. That's what I'm hearing.

Thanks folks, giving those wheels a miss.

Good looking on the huf sale, I ended up buying 4 pairs of the clive. Never skated huf so I'm pretty excited to try something new.

The Clive are some of the best quality skate shoes I've ever seen ngl. You're gonna be stoked.

Never worn a pair of Huf's (used to shop at the store here in SF back when it was still around) - just ordered some black/gum Soto's.

Good luck with the Hufs guys! I skated at at least 10 pair of Huf and never once thought :wow these are comfy but they work for skating like any other normal brand.

Was tempted to buy those all white hupper 2 decons on ebay but unfortunately they're sold out on the site in 9.5. Bought 3 pairs in other colors though, thanks for the heads up!

Relatively tts but leaning towards a little long. Not so much that I would definitely size down or anything. Also to note is the sizing and fit has been known to vary drastically. Each pair of my Dylan slips fit different. Had a few pairs of the first cromers, one fit too tight to wear while the others fit perfect.

Just ordered orange clives and hupper 2 hi along with a jacket.

Recently took out the clive soles on the cool gray ones and put in the vans ultra cush soles and they are the perfect shoe. The soles they come with are serious trash and I learned the hard way after buying four pairs

Hupper 2 is the best shoe ive skated in years though

Lol. Eldee is definitely a human. He’s like a raider on horse back who’s kinda scared to do battle. Somehow he closes his eyes and swings his sword wildly and wakes up in a pile of dead orcs.
