Mine was TTS. Little tight on toes until they broke in. But I also have done wide fred flinstone looking feet.
I say go 0.5 size up. I bought my normal size of 11 last year because I THOUGHT they fit right when I tried them on in store. However weeks later when I got around to actually try them around my house the toe box felt way too narrow and tight on my toes/bunion. You might get away with TTS though.
My recommendation is if you 0.5 size up in Marana, Joslins, Figgy Dose, or Evants then 0.5 size up in these.
You feel locked in the Americana (with the correct size). Tongue padding is minimal but enough (I prefer more) the sole of the toe is somewhat thin, so good board feel but could hurt the balls of your feet on longer sessions if you're heavier or going hard the whole time. Could be durable for how thin it is but not sure. The toe feels responsive and "athletic" in the sense that you'll flick well and have control on your toes (not a bulky immobile toe box).
