Am i reading the woodshop thread correctly that Zero US decks are made by Clutch in 2021?  I'd probably go for the 3-fer deal if they were DSM, but if it's Clutch I'll pass.

They're supposedly BBS but honestly I wouldn't take the gamble with it. Any brand that is not just forthright and honest about the wood they're using gets a hard pass from me. I'd avoid any brands using clutch at all costs, had a couple boards the last year from several different brands and all sucked. Just felt cheap and thin. i know some people said the quality of them was close to BBS but I didn't have that experience with the boards I rode.

Active Shop Decks for $21.97, free shipping over $75. https://www.activerideshop.com/collections/warehouse-blowout-sale-june-21?_=pf&pf_t_categories=Decks

Been skating one of these for a couple days now and they feel pretty crispy. Stomped a trick I've been working on for awhile yesterday. For $22 it's a pretty ridiculous deal. Do blank decks that don't suck get any cheaper than this?

15% off clearance

https://www.skatewarehouse.com/

Bones STF and Easy Streets are discounted to $25, slap another 15% off and they work out to be $21 a set. Good deal.
[close]

I wonder if they just want them gone, given people seem to not be so keen on the natural coloured versions, along with the recent price rises.

Good deals for sure!

Of the clearance wheels, these seem to move the fastest. The Autobahn, Satori and Ricta wheels never get any love.

Orange Label Blazer's on there as well

Not sure they want them gone because they aren't brown, more than likely it's due to wheel graphics are ass and no one is buying the retro series. I'm taking steel wool to them asap.

I couldn't resist $21 103 V5s, they're my favorite shape, and, not brown...and oddly I've been disliking any 99a wheel (ricta/spit/bones/OJ), even on shit terrain, the 99a just fucks with my blunt slides...if they would just realize that spit owns the brown potato category and they should stick to those white 99a EZ streets.

Flip is weird, they measure with the tape flat across the deck, instead of nose to tail.

Probably a more accurate measurement.

Goddammit dude, I love those shoes but that colorway is a travesty.   Trying to decide if I could bury my shame at wearing those in public so I can snag a couple pairs.

Raw 44's and 33's, $14.99

They've been holding at that price for a few weeks, now. I wonder what the deal is with all these cheap Classics.

Probably just over bought and trying to liquidate. I got to take a tour of DLX and Ermico a bunch of years back and Zumiez had like 5 pallets of trucks set up in the shipping dock due to go out all at once. They probably upped orders during Covid boom and are sitting on a bunch of inventory.

Could also be a push to move old inventory because AF1s are selling better? Based on some prices I've seen, the AF144 is usually higher than other sizes..

If Ace is ending production on the classic and the AF1 is their only truck then corporate will clearance out old inventory since the sku/product number is discontinued in their system. Even if it is still selling consistently.

All of their raw/polished trucks except Indy and Ace AF1's are marked down. Not just an Ace thing

Super wild guess in Slap fashion:
New version coming out soon.

I think these are on sale because they probably don’t sell for Zumiez like that. Probably making more room for some crazy colorful Krux for kid’s first boards.

I was under the impression that the AF1 was suppose to be a replacement. Sort of ace stage 2. But what do I know.

Got to say, I love both AF1s and Classics but I'm leaning toward preferring the Classics. The AF1s seem more durable but the classics just have that irreplaceable feel, turn and pop to them... I hope when Ace finally get round to doing an 8.75" axle it is available in both versions.
