Anyone know if those uma boards are square ish?
[close]
I can post a pic of the 8.75 I have it’s not gripped or set up if that helps.
[close]

That would be perfect. Thanks!
[close]

I couldn’t get a photo of the kicks and concave cause the clear wrap kinda made them hard to see. But let me know if you want a certain pic or anything.

Edit. I suck at posting photos so hopefully these work.

They are some good pics, when I bring them up on full screen.

Are those dimensions really correct, not so much the width at 8.75 but more just questioning the 32.85 length with the 14.3 wheelbase?  Super long kicks if so.

Also can I copy this to the Woodshop thread, (full quote with your info as always) cause they are good pics for there too?

Thanks.

And knowing tillys, $7 shipping....

They do have one pair of Spanly KSL G6s foor only $35 thats super tempting, but i know shoes with toes like that just don't work with my skating....

Throw in some FKD Swiss bearings and Grizzly grip to hit the $49 for free shipping.

Some shoes at $35 if you wear below size 7 or above 12, Lakai, Emerica, Vans

Guess they're just gonna have to take my money

Gracias!

Lol. Eldee is definitely a human. He’s like a raider on horse back who’s kinda scared to do battle. Somehow he closes his eyes and swings his sword wildly and wakes up in a pile of dead orcs.

Yeah you can definitely use it for the woodshop thread.

I’m not sure if the dims are correct. I can check. I kinda assumed it was gonna be 14.24 or 14.375 cause 14.3 is kinda weird

Easy!

I was thinking more the overall length at almost 33 long, which to use the AH orange eagle which has a 15 wb with 33 length and long kicks, a shorter wheelbase with similar length board would be nuts!

Uma could have measured with the concave as the wheelbase is usually around the 14.2 to 14.5 for their boards anyway.

I posted a couple of each measurement cause it was hard to hold the tape cause depending on the angle of the photo it looked like it was a different measurement but to me the length looked closer to 32.75 but the wheel base looked about 14.3. Like center looked between 14.25 and 14.375. But again it was kinda hard to hold the tape and get a good photo

If it helps, Uma uses the same shapes as Polar.

No they don't. They're the generic BBS shapes. Same as Passport, Magenta, Theories, etc.

I compared an Uma to my board yesterday and it's identical in every way. I stood on a Polar as well and the Polar has a larger nose and pointy tail. They're the only BBS brand with that.

For real. Fortunately I really only need a new set of Spitfires and I'll probably stock up on discounted grip tape.

The three Uma decks that I have had have definitely been more mellow than Magenta and Theories, and you are right, definitely not close to a Polar.

Yah, I spoke to someone that works at BBS and they said that basically certain companies that have higher volume generic orders can request to have boards from higher and lower in the stack similar to DLX. So personally I know that my Sci-Fi are steeper than Killing Floor, dunno if they request things or what.

So with consumer spending on gear down and an over saturation of product when are these deals gonna peak.

Going to add this - if you want to support a small shop and still ride BBS/Generator decks, Long Beach Skate's shop decks are BBS/Generator. They even have a full shape that rides like FA/Hockey is that's your thing.

Hopefully soon, because these 15% of $75 board deals are wack
