Here’s the two Pizza decks I got from The Drop for about $25 each after using their discount offer. The decks seem like good quality, just compared the green one to my Toy Machine deck and the concave is almost identical so these are on the flatter side (which is a plus for me).  I’m slowly turning into a PS Stix fanboy. Might be weird but I like feeling like I could easily focus my board if I wanted to lol. All my BBS decks are too still for my old feet 🥲

I have a couple in my cart and don't want to pull the trigger because fuck pizza, but you're really selling these.

Edit: two flat ps boards for $50 shipped was too much for my loose moral fiber.

Yeah, it’s tough. I just couldn’t ignore the price. Stuff like this and the FA warehouse sale from last year has ruined me. I can’t bring myself to pay nearly $70 for deck’s anymore lol

I don’t know you financial situation but I assume most people in America (if you’re in the US) could use a hand right now. So fuck it stack those pizza decks and just slide the graphics off or paint over them.

Is one of those their 8.25 shape? If so, is the tail really 6 7/8 like they have listed one their site? I like longer tails and also the mellow ps boards so any info on this would help out thanks in advance!

Thanks, I'm not feeling too bad about it. I've been super good about not buying gear these part few months (probably in part because I was on hiatus from a certain forum). 2 boards in a shape I like for $50 is rad.

i hate when board brands make wheels, but for $40 msrp, i wonder if they have a product that's good given theyre charging that high

I don't think they let you stack the birthday discount code with existing sale items anymore, last tried during their Xmas sale.

2022s black Friday sales have ruined boards prices for me, it's hard going back to $65+ when you know you can get them for $30 or less with discount codes. Shops are going to bear the brunt of this price decay since they have the most overhead and get shafted from distributors with high wholesale prices. An industry insider told me distributors are upping their wholesale prices even more for 2023 to $65. How are shops supposed to survive with the glut of inventory and these prices.

No way Spitfire would OEM their formula to other brands, my guess is Creative.

Power to you, the tapered kicks too a while to adapt to, but the price point I have zero complaints.

I’ve got a few boards in my cart on ssense, but the last time I had extra decks sitting around without setting them up, they warped.

How do you all store your new decks to keep them from getting warped?

I buy 75% of my yearly boards around Black Friday every year. I try my best to buy the same shape and stack them four/five in a box. I’ve only ever had one board (which I’m currently skating) warp. To be honest I haven’t noticed the warp and it’s fairly significant. When I stand on it it corrects the warp. That being said it seems like temperature change does the most damage so if you have them in plastic and in a box in a temp stable room they’ll probably be good

I have a board rack like a shop has.

Similar to this one. Wife bought it for me so I’m not entirely sure where.

I keep mine in my closet stacked as interlocked as possible. flatter boards on the bottom, and I havent had any issues.

Embarassed to admit some of those boards have been in there for years by now

Ha yes, flattest at the bottom, stacked in boxes or just in a cupboard is fine.

I still have boards from ten plus years ago I set up and skate and nothing wrong with them.

Stored well, they will last indefinitely, but if they have been in a shop window that gets a lot of direct sun or on a display wall without shrink wrap, I tend to find they will dry out or warp way more often than boards kept in shrink or stored flat.

Gone since 1988.  I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

Yeah, I have some collectors boards and some to skate on ice. I bought some special ziploc bags 10”x36” for storage because I’m sick. Then I stack them, keep them in a box in a closet that’s in a central location in the apartment where there’s not much temperature/humidity difference.

I’m pissed I never thought of the giant ziploc bag thing, I’ve had some sitting in my cupboard for years. My boards on ice are now in a giant ziploc bag and I feel much better
