I say this all the time, but I ordered some Primitive decks and they were all made in China, and they’re all basically my favorite decks I’ve skated in a long time. Also Primitive does a very small wheelbase, which is of interest to the short and stocky among us.

What’s the preferred shape?
I watch too much Wade footage and get sparked to get his board.
I don’t see their 8.1 shape anymore, which is the one I was most interested in trying.
I had an April 8.125 (for some reason I thought that this shape might be the same as primitive), and it was really hard for me to skate. I put it down to longer tail/nose

I go .5 down for them usually but everyone likes a different amount of room in the toe too so hopefully you like them.

Half size down worked for me. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten a tts cons shoe

I went tts and it was perfect, usually all there new models at tts except the CTAS, those are the only ones you go half size down I think

I looked through their catalog and saw that they received most shoes accurately.  For example they do recommend a half size down in many other converse. But did suggest these are true to size.  So I ordered my actual size.  I’ll circle back once they arrive.  I’ve always thought these looked the part.

Half size down for sure. Never wore a CONS that was TTS. I wouldn't say uncomfortable. Stiff. But good flick and support.
