Anyone know the quality of the team “dirty p” boards from primitive?   The are down to 20 end of year clearence.
[close]
Last month i bought the 3 mystery board bundle, size 8.25. I got 1 made in mexico, and 2 china boards. Set up a china board first, and it felt terrible. It was very flexy feeling, and the concave/nose/tail steepness did not feel right, even though it looked just like the normal 8.25 shape. Within 30 minutes of skating flat ground, the tail snapped. Thought maybe it was just bad luck, so i set up the other made in china board and it felt awful also. Ive since started buying April 8.25, taking the risk of the Primitive sale decks isnt worth it to me.
[close]

they have a bunch of regular decks for 26 dollars, gotta assume those are mexican wood right? or do you think those are a toss up as well.

The made in china decks were a “Nuevo script” and a P Rod deck, not sure of the series name, was silver and red with a ninja star in the middle.
The BBS board was a “dirty P” board.
Previous to these, I had the purple Neal board with the snake in the middle, it was made in USA, and skated/felt just like the BBS boards.
I even emailed and asked if there’s a way to tell or ask for made in Mexico decks on the site, and they said no. I guess it’s just luck of the draw.

You can simply take the deck name and search for it on another site where they say where its made. ex. Tactics, etc. The Vianna and Hamilton decks are BBS, bought those in the past.

I bought four Primitive decks last year. All of them were pro models, all were made in China, all of them were great. I don’t know who is pressing the decks in China, but they did a fine job. I would not hesitate to recommend them, and I would buy more if only I actually needed more skateboards. You are not going to go wrong for the price.

Ace trucks and bigger Indy’s are excluded from the sale. I’m guessing those are the biggest sellers during these sitewide sales

Is anyone familiar with the website https://emerald-deluxevillas.com/ ?

Stumbled across it earlier and there are some ridiculous deals going on there. I'm thinking it might be a bug on their end (see pricing on each item), but I'm still tempted to go through with it using PayPal. It looks like everything is priced at $62.58 and always comes up to $79 total with free shipping. Feels like it's too good to be true.

Did your friend ever get anything ordered?
Pictures, please.🙂

Definitely too good to be true, my bud ended up getting his money back through PayPal. Dude orders things from questionable websites all the time so he's used to this process lol.

https://www.daddiesboardshop.com/ has a 20% discount with the code DADDIES20 . It claims to only be active until 4/30 but looks like the discount is still applicable. $6.95 for shipping unless it's over $75

What's strange on that emerica sale is I'm pretty sure a lot of those shoes were already on sale for less than 55.55 a week ago

You can just automate these sorts of price changes in most online retail applications.

I got 6 boards, 2 pro (Desarmo, Gillet) and 4 team boards (2 "dirty P", and 2 of the primitive text). I received 1 sheet of grip.

All boards were made in China too, in case anyone was curious.

Also, all decks were correctly measured width wise.

Finally got over to Ross.  Looked pretty picked over, no Vans but they had a lot of DC product:  some basic court sneakers in various sizes.  Nothing really popped out but I did snag some black DC slides for 12 bucks.

The last time I ordered a couple of decks from them, I got 1 sheet of grip and a set of 50mm wheels.

I was at Gabe’s today which is like a shitty Ross/Marshall’s and they had a ton of vans. No skates but a bunch of different women’s models like these knitted ultra range for $50 https://www.vans.com/en-us/shoes-c00081/ultrarange-vr3-shoe-pvn0a4bxb11h
some of those hiking boot ones with the reverse waffle outsoles for $50. Mostly lots of dumb expensive vans marked at half retail price and lots of classics for nearly full price.

half retail seems too much. Skate hi pros were going for 35$ and the rest were all $25 at Ross. The vans outlet sounds better than this Gabe place

A shitty Ross/Marshalls is a wild concept, like if it can get anymore unruly and ridiculous.

Sidenote- anyone noticed how fucking slow the checkout is at discount stores? Why is it so laborious?
