Nobody reading this thread needs three more pairs of shoes.

This post is what stayed my hand lol. I got two pair of DC and two pair of Nike recently due to sales. Almost bought more but it’s like, ‘nah dude, Snakes is right’

Seriously. Been needing a pair of skate authentics for over a month now and fuck paying $70 on the Vans site. Just basic ass black in a normal size I guess is impossible now.

Not to harp on anyone because not everyone is super tech savvy, but seriously, the power of google. If you're searching for a specific shoe, deck, shirt, pant whatever all I do is put the brand, whatever product I'm looking for and size into search and go to images and most of the time it will give several results and sometimes even if the products is in stock or not on the search page.

Solid advice. The only issue I hit is when sites don’t organize themselves properly. Looking at you, Skate Park of Tampa. Then you might get a hit for said site and they don’t have the item in the right size or whatever.

Seriously though, if I’m on your site and search size 10 in whatever and you keep giving me shit out of stock in 10 I’m just gonna waste money elsewhere lol

Similar. I search the actual posts though and go back maybe 3 pages. Image links to too many things not in stock ime. Then you have those shops whose stuff doesn’t come up that you have to recall to search their site outright.

I usually only use the search method for a rare released deck or shoes I’m looking to get on sale. Otherwise I’ll just go to whatever sites and sort by new. And that’s if there’s a promo code, otherwise I have no good reason to pay retail for anything, as I don’t “need” anything, at all.

Daddies got some skate authentics on the low end ($33), just a boof of grey faded colorway. Passed on em st $44 after discount, but for $33 I think I’ll bite. Perhaps. Now I tend to put other bills in mind when I’m considering dropping dollars. But a $9 thrasher beanie is a $9 thrasher beanie, so…

Thanks.
Unfortunately those were all black in that size. I did find them in my size after a few places had restocked finally.
Yes, I did use google to search for them. Everyone was out of my size in the color I wanted the last 2 weeks. That’s why I was checking here.
I’m dumb but I’m not completely stupid.

Porch pirate got my DCs today. They must be following the UPS truck since there was only a few minutes between delivery and when I checked outside. HUF order from last Wed still hasn't shipped either.

Did you hear the truck UPS and Fedex will straight up Lie about the delivery of a package, then have it arrive the next day. IDK why. It use to happen all the time at my old place. I would get the "delivered notification" check my camera and see that they never came. Then they drop it off the next day and ring the doorbell.

They do this to me all the time, USPS as well - it's to avoid that delivery driver from getting flagged as missing a delivery date in the system. If they say it's delivered it is and they can just drop if off the next day if they get behind schedule.

25$ decks with what looks like $5 flat rate shipping. I don’t know anything about this brand, but if you’ve ever wanted to try a board from Drifter this is currently the most cost effective route

Got mine in about a week. Shipped UPS from a warehouse in Corona, CA and I got a tracking number in my email (but I only ordered soft goods, no decks)

I had to email them after it hit the 7 day mark and within  a couple of hours they gave me my tracking number. It said it had already shipped out of their warehouse in CA a day before I reached out, so yours might already be shipped too if you hit them up!

The team and mystery decks are made in China. Supposedly still pretty good decks. Their pro models are BBS.

Huf order is finally on the way.
I I had pulled the trigger on those cheap lynx's but they canceled the order a few days later. Kind of a blessing though because I ended up with a pair of black/ grey Manteca lows for $12 and a pair of the same color Manteca highs for$19.
They have plenty of highs in stock size 13, that come to $19 with code.

It's a crap shoot, I've got a bunch of their team decks (Dirty P, Euro Slant), come stickers list them as China and some as Mexico (with the BBS hologram). But word on here is the China ones are really good, couldn't tell them apart from BBS if it wasn't for the sticker.

Re Paterson decks - they do take a while to ship out, usually 1 week, but they do deliver

Re HUF stuff - got reply saying they usually ship in 4-7 days, I ordered my stuff 8 days ago including weekends and 4th July

Yeah I have enjoyed many Dwindle R7 decks in the past, and the stack of cheap Chinese Primitive decks I bought on a whim turned out to be my favorite decks I’ve skated in recent memory. I could find no fault with them, they never pressure cracked (got cracks all over my new Hockey deck), and I only got rid of them when they were razor-tailed enough that I wanted a new one.

It is indeed clutch.  With a little fuller shape.  8.25" has a 14.38" wb.  Not sure on the other sizes.

Yeah I have enjoyed many Dwindle R7 decks in the past, and the stack of cheap Chinese Primitive decks I bought on a whim turned out to be my favorite decks I’ve skated in recent memory. I could find no fault with them, they never pressure cracked (got cracks all over my new Hockey deck), and I only got rid of them when they were razor-tailed enough that I wanted a new one.

yeah those r7 decks are no joke, i hated the shape of the one i had but it stayed stiff and kept its pop twice as long as any bbs ive ever skated. it took a freakishly unbelievable amount of time for the tail to wear down and i do alot of popping
