Bought 4 completes through the thank you sale. One for my nephew and few to stash and keep for Xmas time to donate to toy drives. I’ve been hitting Black Friday sales the last few years to put together completes to donate. This is way easier and cheaper! Something to consider if you’re fortunate enough to be in a place where you can give back a little bit.

$12 shipping. Even when you spend $100. Gonna have to sit this one out.

Wish alltimers didn’t switch to clutch. If they were still BBS I’d be grabbing some decks but even 35 for clutch seems steep (for me at least they’re the only boards I’ve ever snapped)

yeah, while i understand why most are bummed, but thats how much it costs to ship a deck without losing money.

anyone know where I can find some insoles at an okay price? Wanted to try fp but this thread mentioned some sketchiness so i ordered some other brand and they never shipped out

also

the zooms has a bunch of numerics as low as forty bones, $50 417 (villani) among others

surprised theyre still there really ----> https://www.zumiez.com/brands/new-balance?customFilters=promotion_flag:Sale

would jump on those 440 his (v1) butnot until I find insoles

Lol. Eldee is definitely a human. He’s like a raider on horse back who’s kinda scared to do battle. Somehow he closes his eyes and swings his sword wildly and wakes up in a pile of dead orcs.

$12 shipping is a steal especially when you’re getting everything deeply discounted. They’re probably losing money on the shipping for $100 worth of items. I ship items daily from my eBay store and shipping rates have been steadily increasing a few times a year. Packing materials as well.

That and the flood of instagram resellers in the thrifts and the outlets got me out. Shipping used to be dirt cheap

I understand shipping can be expensive. But since this is a sale thread I wanted to mention it, cause that can be make or break for some folks.

That’s why a lot of places have “Spend X amount get free shipping” deals.

With $12 shipping and $35 decks, it’s like spending $47 for one if that’s all you got. So it’s not a crazy deal.

When I post here it’s not to complain. I just share information in an attempt to help others.

to be fair, flat rate of $12 is basically the standard for shipping nowadays. You gotta keep in mind they're going out of business, they sold a bunch of shit early to shops for pennies on the dollar, but are offloading ALL of their backstock. I mean they've got friends and family shit they're getting rid of.

Oh I know. What happened to them is a shitty situation, and I’m glad everything sold out. Again, I was just posting that to inform others. Cause free shipping is what makes many of us impulse buy stuff lol.

how much should shipping be?

this isn’t focused on you @OhioGuy. buuuuuuuut. the expectations for costs and convenience, have long been out of wack.
this kinda stuff has me hoping for the collapse of skate industry. people will still skate, there will still be stuff.
many cool people would need to find different jobs, and i’m glad that skateboarding has been able to provide a fair amount of folks with a living. but goddamn. the ‘hauls’ will never be enough, will never be cheap enough.
i don’t understand how someone could work at a shop and not dislike the people that come in.

"Accidentally" just picked up one myself, along with 2 101 decks, the $15 Swiss and other assorted items. I wasn't paying attention in the cart and clicked on "Pay Now", not really intending to fully commit to the purchase but here we are now and I'm okay with that.

Still hoping for those one-foots too...

It’s been 10 days since I ordered from the Thank You Supply sale and no update on my order. No packing update, shipping estimate, nothing. I think we should all temper our expectations from this sale

Stay calm my young Padawan, I’ve received two orders from them so far, they are good, but probably also busy packing all the orders that everyone has been placing and writing about on this thread

I placed two separate orders over the past couple weeks, and for both I never received any shipping notification from TYS, but the day before delivery I got emails from UPS about the scheduled delivery (but I'm also signed up for myUPS)

Patience is a virtue..

..in response to my order inquiry with ThankYouSupply via email:

“Hi Tyler,

We had delays in packing/shipping due to a higher volume of orders. Orders are taking about 7 business days to ship. We have increased staffing at our warehouse and turnaround times will improve.”

This is the first time the warehouse has been busy in years, reminds me of the FA / Hockey sale from a few years back which stacked with a 20% first order coupon. Happy days.

That sale ruined me lol. Don’t think we’ll ever see anything quite like it again. I stacked something too and got like a deck for $15 or some shit. Still have one left.

How do you actually go through decks if you don't pop, slide, grind, or anything that would stress the board?
