saving my money, getting ready for black friday....

Just a heads up last year black friday sucked. I passed on some really good sales that were a few weeks before only to be let down on black friday. Not sure if this year is going to be the same but i wouldn't sleep on any good deals that are available right now. Shops that were doing 30% off a few weeks before black friday had like 15-25% off sales on black friday.

I know this is a non-sale related tangent, but the marketing/messaging around the skate duffel bag is silly.

"Skate travel is a joke. Some days your board is classified as a weapon. Some days it’s disregarded as a toy. Most days, you’re treated as a kid. Whether you pack it in a plastic bag, under your shirt or in a makeshift container - getting anywhere is unpredictable. It’s time that changed."

All of those cited situations and uncertainties revolve around trying to travel with your skateboard as a carry-on item. Yet, there's no way this duffel bag would be acceptable as a carry-on due to its size, so you'll need to put it in checked luggage (which you would avoid all those aforementioned uncertainties if you just put your skateboard as checked luggage in the first place).

I skated the newports first which made me try the blazer. They skate similarly. It’s been a while, but I’d say that because it’s lakai, the shoe breaks in faster and is less stiff feeling than blazers. So a newports are better early on, but after say a month, or skating your blazers are feeling great and newports are almost done.
