The speckeled soles are a little crazy. Wish it was a tad more mellow. It doesn’t seem like an actual Grant colorway. It’s more of a Nike colorway that was given to him.

The speckeled soles are a little crazy. Wish it was a tad more mellow. It doesn’t seem like an actual Grant colorway. It’s more of a Nike colorway that was given to him.

It is a sample version so it’ll look a little different.   I don’t think there have been any “grant” colorways other than him wanting that green colorway that his first shoe came out with

Looks like it’s mowabb inspired so the rope laces make sense. Along with the purple. Speckled midsole is a little OD tho.

I love acg and like those GT's are amazing. I do wish that classic ACG models would come out more. I would love to get  a pair of Trail End Brown Mowabbs.

word I see the design inspo, but i hate when companies try to make sneakers that resemble outdoor/hiking shoes with rope laces, metal lace loops, etc.

ok maybe it's not something i'd wear, but i like speckle soles, and those are pretty to look at. the popping colors wouldn't work as well with a white sole. you'd make it all brown then or make all the colorful parts black, and then it would be pretty boring.

i love these hiking colorways though. never owned a shoe like this, but i am always tempted to buy them come winter.

this one isn't really weatherproof, right? it's just a colorway to make it look like a hiking shoe but probably same vulc sole and construction as the new gt low but as a mid?

Those ACG GT Blazers would be a little cooler if the speckle was only on the toe bumper and the rest of the sole was straight black. That's a tasteful touch of speckles on a sole, in my opinion. I wouldn't buy them, but I dig the idea behind this colorway. I love earthy-tones on a shoe.

Yeah, I don’t think this has any Waterproof or water resistant leather on them. Just to mimic the inspiration for the shoe.

They did post the right shoe. You posted the wrong shoe. Tinker Hatfield designed both the Huarache and Mowabb. They both came out in 1991. The trail end brown colorway went with the Mowabb. That Huarache is a retro done up in the Mowabb colorway.
