Anyone able to confirm this?  I remember years ago reading about how Poison Idea would plan their tours, hitting cities that this band had recently hit in hopes of snagging a 7 inch of what they called perfect hardcore.  They'd hit every record store in town, assuming that they had sold a bunch of copies somewhere to get gas money to continue the tour.  I want to say this was the record they were searching for, but I seriously cannot find shit about this online anymore.

I read that too, it might have been in a zine somewhere or maybe a podcast interview with Jerry A. What I remember is that pig champion was fucking obsessed with that record. You were correct it is vengeance/in this town. Tesco Vee from the meatmen was running touch and go (obvi) and was really impressed so he released it as a promo/ep. I know the best part of record collecting is a hunt, but I’m fucking positive they played with negative approach and the necros, as to why they didn’t just hit up tesco for a few copies of it is beyond me though hahah.
Well I have like 9 Andy Anderson dated flight decks.

Cool fest my homies are organizing in Oxnard this April. Lots of LA/Ventura area bands.
Should be lots of fun

Here’s a link to the fest’s insta if that image didn’t post properly(not used to posting images on mobile)

hell yeah, my dude Chance does RTR Tapes. he told me yesterday you guys are playing a bloomington gig soon. see ya there!

Chance is the goat, big respect to him! Full Stride fuckin rocks.

And yeah, will be there early March, hyped to say what's good!

So incredibly proud of Prinzy and waydown. Just absolutely crushing shit and putting cincy hardcore on the map. Big fan of what they’re doing, regardless of good homie status.

Massive love and respect to an OG waydown supporter

I'm considering it, a few friends of mine are going. I went to FYA in January and had a ton of fun. Went to Disturbin' the Peace in Baltimore last weekend and it ruled, I've gone the last couple years and this was the best lineup so far.
Look I'm not selling anything that doesn't have my jizz on it. I don't care how much is offered.

been every year, last year was the weakest lineup imo, this year rocks. the venue for this year looks awesome too.

didn’t they just get into mad beef for ripping of the plutocracy logo?

IDK about beef, but they were selling shirts with the Sniping Pigz artwork that read Sunami instead of Plutocracy. Seemed more homage than ripping off to me. I tried to buy one, but they didn't have my size ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

if by beef you mean an entire generation of kids not understanding what a 'rip off/homage' design is then sure, yes.

seems like some old PV heads were pretty aggro  about it, and the “kids” couldn’t understand why. I’m old and don’t really keep up with much, but just saw a lot of back and forth doing the rounds on insta…

Holy moses! That’s fucking incredible. Usually a lot of the stuff recommended in this zhread is a little bit too much on the beatdown/ tough guy side of hardcore for me, but this pushes all the right buttons: Rough production, speed….

So hyped
