I'm on my second pair of 440 v2 highs in 10.5. And have one pair of lows in 10.5, and it is noticeably smaller than the highs, especially lengthwise:

https://www.slapmagazine.com/index.php?topic=89457.msg4211770#msg4211770

Apparently this might be by design:

https://www.slapmagazine.com/index.php?topic=89457.msg4212134#msg4212134

But I tried a pair of lows in 11 at a skate shop. And they felt substantially larger/longer than the 10.5 highs. So maybe try before you buy. And don't assume the high/low sizing to be the same!

I’m on my 3rd pair of 440 v2 and they all fit me true to size. 2 pairs of the highs and a pair of lows.I’ve had a bunch of the v1s highs and they also fit me TTS

How's the difference between v1 and v2 lows in your opinion? Anything noteworthy? I like the v1 so much I'm kinda laughably scared to try the v2.

For my 600th post I’d like to shout out the 600s for having the perfect level of boardfeel/cushion as well as a complete lack of heel slip. May they stay in the lineup for 600 years. Will never vulc again.

I was gonna get the 480s from joesnb until I noticed all of them stop at size 8 and jump to 12 or 14 lol. So I got 2 440 v1s in the green to go with my blue, brown and white pairs. Ironically the blues were the cheapest and the one's I almost didn't buy, and they're my favorite colorway.
The greens look good in pictures, so we'll see. They fit TTS to me too, but I tried .5 up just to see if they take less to break in, the synthetic ones took heavy usage before molding to my feet unlike the all suede.

Bout to pull the trigger on a pair of 440 v2 hi. The first version of the high top I wore an 11.5 and a 12 in the lows. Can the same be said about the v2’s? I can always return em if the fit is off but would rather get it right the first time
[close]

I float between a 11.5 and 12 (due to having wide feet). I skate the 440 V1 in 12 and they fit well ( a tad roomy). Have some V2 Highs on the way in a 12. I'l let you know how they fit. I should prob get them in a day or two.

For sure I’ll keep an eye on this thread

Got the V2 Highs today and they fit great. Maybe a tad snugger than my V1 lows, which is fine by me. 12 was the right call for me.

Just got the v2 highs in the mail yesterday myself. For me the fit is better than the v1 highs. Went with what I also do with hi/low tops. Hi tops half size down and lows my usually size. Fit is so much better than the v1s and I love the new toe shape. It feels so much better doing flip tricks with a slightly pointier toe box versus the old squarish shape one

I got the 440s v2 a couple of days ago, and had 2 session on them. I went a size smaller than 440s v1, bcuz I found them to be slightly too big. I guess im between sizes. The V2s in a size smaller is slightly too small, but it seems like I can stretch them out to a sock-like fit, which is what I prefer.

First impressions: They are awesome! Barely any break-in time. No heelbruise from flat, like I could get with V1. They still have excellent grip, so I can do fs/bs tailslide without requiring a fresh grip! :D

On my second pair of 808s, love em. They take awhile to get used to but I’m about to switch to the 1010s cause I’ve got 2 pairs ready to go

got the 808 and 1010.

808:

really like the design (got the new leather white/black ones) but couldnt even walk in them. got bad blisters and my achilles started to hurt. Also they get really hot inside. Im going to sell them.

1010

heaven, they feel like walking on clouds. probably my new fav shoe. hope they feel as good on the board.

I also had the 417 but never going to skate vulcs again because of backpain. Also they where really tight in the toe area. So out of 3 models 2 where really bad for my feet. Never had this much problems with other shoe companys in the past but also found my new fav model with the 1010 at the moment so it was kinda worth it.

The 440V2 (wide) is my favorite shoe (I just wish it had a wee bit more cushion all around); I sold my buddy on them saying the same thing: "I don't think about my shoes skating these at all."

Fit, look great. Grip, flick,  decent enough impact (I'm not hucking, just running out of shit these days).

Hoping for some additional wide colroways soon.

Those who find the 808 comfortable to skate in, what size are you wearing? Do you go for your TTS, half size up, full size up? I got 2 pairs of 808 in my typical skate shoe size (US 10) which is a half size up from my TTS 9.5. The 808 feel snug but I can walk in them for a bit. I tried skating in them and it’s just pain. My toes hit the end of the shoe. The 1010s in that size are nice and roomy. Should I attempt to go for a 10.5? Also, on another note, how’s the sizing with the 600. Those new burgundy ones are super nice.

600 fit TTS for me. 10.5 Same for the 440v2 (king!)

808 AND 1010 are too big at 10.5 (heel slip for me) and way too small at 10. But the 808s at 10.5 fit better lengthwise than the 1010 (808s too narrow). I've given up on both Tiago's shoes forever. Sniff. (If you are 10.5 in the 1010 and are interested (Grey/Aqua) let me know, nary a scratch on them).

And I thought Fastbreak sizing was a problem ;)

I skate them TTS and they are perfect for me, but i have a weird size foot where most shoes my TTS is a tiny bit too long and half size down in shoes is too small for me, so when i heard the 808s were snug in TTS i was actually hyped because i knew for me it would be perfect fit for me in TTS. I know most people say to half size up in the 808, so i can only speak for myself.I recently started skating them coming from only skating Blazer mids and Skate Sk8-hi  for 8 years straight and i love them. Really supportive and work well for me.

Think I’ve skated my 808s about 10 times now and each time I feel like I have to re-break them in. First 15 mins or so of the sesh the arches of my feet feel too tight in em even at half size up. But then once im fully warmed up and into the swing of things I don’t notice em and have tricks feeling nice and springy and dig the protection for my battered legs.

What about the non skate 480s? Found a nice deal and am not sure about the sizing. I am my true size 7.5 in the 306 and 600. The 574 Vulc wasn't what I was looking for. Maybe try the 272 soon, but I am not sure if my feet shape would like these. Sitting at the dentist right now and got 2 tranquilizer injections. I am flying right now pals. Take care of your teeth.

Non # 480 feel horrible. They're sturdy, (not in a good way) and they lack midsole.
Funny thing I'm also at doctor's office right now but thank God is not a dentist. I have my foot in a halo looking ring that do some magnetic crap to my ankle.

808s were all over the place for sizing for me being a 11. I ordered 11, 11.5 and 12 and only the 12s fit, kinda. They were slightly to long so I got heel slip, and the other sizes were awful on comfort, triggering my ankle bone to hurt. On the 1010s I ended up at 11.5 and they are perfect. Genuine clouds for your feet.

I'm still hopeful for an 808v2 or lite version. They just need to tweak the sizing and midsole.

Just got some 808s myself and experienced the same arch tightness you mentioned during a quick wear-test sesh.

I'm a 10.5 so that's what I ordered. The shoes are a bit tight and I can feel some heel lift when I push, but I'm sure breaking them in should fix it. They definitely feel like they can take some punishment once they're worn in.

UPDATE: Had another wear-test sesh this afternoon. I laced the shoes a little more up top, which seemed to resolve the heel lift issue. My arch/feet weren't as tight as last time, but I noticed some soreness kicking in towards the end of the sesh (skated longer than yesterday which could explain it). The shoes feel very sturdy and skate well though, no issues with flick or anything like that.

Whoever cooked in the kitchen on the new 440v2 Wides deserves a mega raise. Been a 10 my whole life cuz 9.5 is too narrow. 10 is too long most of the time for me but I just dealt with it. However, these 9.5 Wides fit to absolute perfection.
