I'm not crazy about the first two colourways (especially not the black/white ones), but the 770 looks like a great design to me. Full length midsole and tongue-centering straps (which we're always looking for on Slap), and it just looks stable and cushioned, and truly like something different from the rest of the skate shop shoe wall right now. I think I read that the forefoot is a lower density foam than the heel, which is a really interesting idea for improving flexibility. A lot of skate shoes add flexibility there by just using very little or no foam, which usually makes the shoe unwearable for me. This feels like a way to maintain the cushioning while adding functionality.
Before I knew it was an early 90's tennis/cross training shoe; the sole immediately reminded me of Nike Air Trainer 1's, which a lot of people skated, but I didn't think were ideal as a skate shoe, mainly due to the strap. NB# doesn't rely heavily on skate-ified archival designs, but the 600 and 480 are both those, and those are my favourite shoes of theirs.
I'd love to see some white ones with bright coloured accents (leaning into that early 90's tennis style), or some kind of hiking-inspired brown/beige. I'm excited to see these in person and try them on. Might go for the grey/purple ones if the stars align just right.
