Would setting up a Polar Dane1 with Indy 215s be sorta like skating an 8.25 with 149s?  Or would it be better to get some 169s on there?  I see alot of people are even skating it with 159s, but I'm going for an extra wide/extra stable crust cruiser.

I also don't think i'll ever skate a wider board so I wanna put these 215s to use somehow.

[close]
I wouldn’t put 215. The back would stick out too much like that legendary board that just got bumped in the set up thread.

I’d throw em on the new 10.1” dead dave mutant shape though.

yea, that's what I was afraid of... anyone wanna trade some Indy 215s for Indy 169s?
hardly art, hardly starving

I just wanted the 8.5" shape a bit wider.

Wide board + short WB skaters truly are the most oppressed minority
Thats the truth.

Many skateboards are available in the market at different price ranges having variable specifications in today’s era. For the best electric skateboard under 500, you will need to be careful. Selection of the skateboard with all the required specs is not easy while keeping the budget in mind.  :) 8)

I'm gonna just grip the outer 2 inches on my next one.
Dane 1s always look fun so they still make them w/o the wheel wells anymore?

yea the last run of Dane 1s had no wheel wells, this one is an older one that just randomly popped up on parade one night, and I jumped on it no hesitation

report back how it is with 55’s. I never tried that combo. Short wheelbase and ace’s pulling it in more with a not-so steep tail

Dane1 with the 55s is the absolute best, in my humble opinion

Craig questions deck
and the cruiser is the donovan rice

Just set up the craig and only skated in the basement a little, all my spots are snowed over or wet atm. Super responsive with the 14.1 w/b it actually flips easier than my popscicle setup, maybe cause it magic carpets a little on 169s, being 10".

So...I noticed ATM is making9” pops now. Anybody have any reviews or know what the WB is on them? Wouldn’t mind trying one since they are a little cheaper. I’ve never skated one but heard the concave is pretty deep.

Their pop 9 x 33 so most likely a 15 wheelbase, but nothing actually says that, even on their site, but it has search options which show it as that.

Post from the other thread and was going to put this in here too, but didn't.  Until now, that is.

Was just scrolling Instagram and saw this one

10 x 31.25 with 14.25 wheelbase

Nice, they both look amazing!

I'm curious about the single rail, is it toe or heel side? And why? I never really understood it...
The '80s were the worst period. You had these horrible pop bands growing their hair and calling themselves metal.

Rails make it easier to grab, backside airs and method airs etc.

There may be other reasons, thats what I always thought they were useful for

I cannot recall where I saw it, but there was a thread or definitely a good conversation in a thread about rails, why people ride only one (usually always on the toe side to help with boardslides, lipslides, smiths and feebles) and pros and cons.  I just cannot find it right now.

Anyone else have the memory or the link?

I don’t have either but in my experience with one rail:
It slides better but not too fast and you feel like there’s more control. I do more boneless variations in that area.
But:
It does mess with the weight of the board. And your graphics wear out if you’re into saving them.
Nothing I do deserves more than an iphone camera.

https://www.basementskate.com.au/black-label-reuter-snake-and-rat-9-skateboard-deck-white-dip/

Im seeing different dimensions online...on this site its the same as black label shop, but other places have a shorter dimension which would be cool

Jake Reuter “Snake and Rat" 9.0″ x 32.8″ 14.5

I would be inclined to trust what John Lucero puts on his own site for his own product, which is the same as Basement dimensions, but you never know.
