idk what board to setup!
left to right: anti hero green giant, scram whale, 35th ave. 10 inch popsicle

Oh wow, nice. What trucks? I was just asking about that Green Giant a few posts above.
How long/wb is that 35th ave 10"?

using ace 66's. can't get off of them haha. too addicting. 5050's just hold forever. not sure about the 10" but I must say its at least 15.20 haha. the thing is massive. biggest board I've had. itll be fun to ride it

You should for sure set up the 35th Avenue! So curious to see that!

The whale you should send straight over to mine, I can post a pic once, i’ve set it up. No worries

New AH Gnar hunters board looks sweet. 9.5" with a 14" or 14.25" wheelbase (depending who you ask). Shorter nose than tail.

Yeah, I was looking at this too. I think it’s around 30 long which fits in with what I’m riding right now. I wonder what the concave/kicks are like

i usually rock 55mm but those are a bit shaved down, and yeah 1/8th" risers handle the wheels perfectly

That 10.0 looks like a perfect shape. What trucks are you going to run on that monster?

Antihero Eagle 9.0 15 wheelbase and near twin nose

Bones Hardcore bushings
Krooked 1/8 risers

so nice. 9.1” wide or 9? Thinking of pairing with wider trucks for the stability like 161/169

nah this one is 9 flat. the shaped one is 9.1

i kinda like when the trucks are just a lil smaller than the deck. makes flip tricks seem crisp but its probably just in my head. waiting for a hollow light version of the 161s to come out before i venture into 9 inch trucks

Love the board, long tail(almost 7”) and on the mellow side which I prefer.
As for the venture 6.1, I have a few setups, on with thunder 151 and one with Indy 159. They all have their advantages but the grind clearance and stability of venture has me coming back.

First board I’ve set up in about 4 years. Ed’s part in the New Deal promo vid was my biggest skating inspiration as a kid but I couldn’t get this board at the time. Had to cop it when I saw the reissues were coming!

New Deal Templeton “Woof Cat” reissue, 9.75 screenprint version
Film trucks 6.0”
Speedlab American Nomad 56mm
NMB bearings (for old times sake, might upgrade them, will see how they roll)
Film rails
Film bolts
Cliché 1/8” risers
Jessup (didn’t quite get the line properly lined up, looks better from some angles though, honest!)

Looking to buy a bigger setup around the Templeton Cat reissue, and curious if i could run 6.1 ventures on it?

I too just built up a New Deal Templeton deck.  This will be for park skating. I have Indy 149's, Spitfire OG Classic 60mm, and Sparrow bearings:

I also built up another deck that I want to use for a cruiser.  Vision Double Vision 9.5", Ace 66, random green 59mm 78a wheels - still playing around with this setup:

out with the old, in with the new

Really digging this board so far. I like the lack of nose.
169s fit it perfect. They were a little small on that last board.
This thing is a slappy machine.
