First post on slap after lurking for a bit.

9.25 couch, thunder 151 hollow lights with 1/8 risers. 54mm blast wheels

First board that’s made the thunders feel good after being on indys for ages.

[close]

Would be interesting to know how it holds up, here's my Couch after the fourth session, flat ground only.

Please tell us your brand new bronsons seized up after 4 sessions too, so this can be the ultimate slap I told you so.

Contrary to the bad reports G3s have been holding up well for me on another setup. One shield became loose since last year, but they are still working perfectly otherwise. This set is indeed new so fingers crossed it will last, too. Bones Swiss are currently double the price they used to be in Germany.

The heroin drop was pushed out to the 20th but Fos gave a sneak peek at the new Dead Dave Mutant graphic from Funeral French and it rules

I also put together a "small" setup -
9" Welcome
159 Titaniums
52mm F4s
Candybars

That’s a great looking welcome. Is that the baculus 2 shape?

Also I’m in love with that heroin deck, the shape is so sick and the graphic looks like the cover of a chain punk record someone colored in.

I need it.

9.25 (at widest) skatepaige uncut blank cut to twin tail with Phawt shape tails. 8.875" at trucks, 7" tails, 15"wb.  Gifting my Habitat to a kid at the park.
Indy TI 169
Spitfire F4 60mm (now about 57)
Swiss

Just an update on the skatepaige wood for anyone contemplating...the wood feels solid, however at the same time very heavy and thick.  Seems to have a semi soggy feeling out of the gate, however not flexy at all. Maybe just too heavy? I had a friend who has a lot of pop try it out, he had no complaints.  The set up felt real sluggish the whole time.  I actually had to remove my risers, as the nut wasn't sitting flush with the thread on the truck bolts. All in all not horrible, but not great either. Will save for a later date, or just to use the shape for reshaping other decks. Set up an old Krooked 8.75 instead.

Edit: it felt really flat too, almost flatter than the Girl Phawt.

Board is pretty flat but I like that a lot. I really hope for Black Label to put out another board with that shape.
This is the perfect board in my opinion, I even prefer it over the Mutant shape.

Now I am really excited for my Scram Bombers. Hopefully it can compete with those two shapes

^ That shape looks rad.  Nice long nose and tail.

Stoked to finally get my hands on a Very Big Egg.  Even more rad that it's a guest board for Ira.

Heroin 10"
Indy 215s with bones hard bushings and forged hollow baseplates
52mm F4 Classics
Mob

Can you measure the width of the deck where the axles sit, nose and tail? Thanks!

It's about 9.6 over the front and rear trucks.  169 indys would probably work and Ace 77s would fit perfect.  There's a little axle poking out from the 215s which doesn't bother me

Anyone tried the Girl loveseat shapes in 9 or 9.25 with Aces? I'm thinking on putting my AF1 66 on one of those, but would the the axles stick out too much on the 9" deck?

66's will stick out way too far on the loveseat imo. I tried 55's on it and I knew it wouldn't work without even skating it. Ventures and Indy both work great if that helps.

Thanks! Someone posted pics with Ace 77s and it looked perfect indeed. Was wondering if I could reuse my 169s but 9.6 would be a bit too much of a magic carpet for my taste.

I'm not sure bud I have never skated the Couch shape. I forgot to mention both 8.5 and 8.75 trucks work great on the loveseat.

Ok, thanks for clarifying. I'm going with the 9.25" couch shape and 9"  Ace trucks.
