cut up some dumplings and fried them up in a pan, letting them brown, added shiitake mushrooms, then half an onion, cook that out for a bit, added tomato paste, cooked that down, added miso paste and just for fun a bit of adobo sauce, then added about a cup of vegetable stock and two crushed cloves of garlic. at this point i was freeballing with the rest of the toppings i threw in somekimchi, some red bell pepper and topped it off with some broccoli that i let get steamed on top of the whole thing and some spring onion and maybe some black sesame. add salt and pepper to taste of course. turned out pretty great actually, maybe some herbs would have been nice but i only have basil and mint around and i think cilantro would be best but i actually hate that stuff since i am one of those people who taste it as it was a soap bar.
