South Central flat blank 8.25
5.6 V-Hollow (all stock)
50mm F4 Classics

I wanted to size down from the 8.5" I was skating and this was on top of the pile and looking good. I skated this on 5.2 lows in the summer and didn't like it, but on the 5.6s it feels perfect.

I love the look. I’ve rambled about this before, but blanks with big stickers, or some of the ‘prototype’ graphics different companies ran, always so sick. That orange is poppin. I know why I try and skate bigger wheels, I just have a lot more fun on smaller ones.

been waiting to try this shape for a while.....caught one on sale and didnt really like the graphic. sanded 3/4s off and did my first spray paint job

primitive villani egg 9.125/31.8/14.25
venture 6.1 w/forged plates+indy 78a+flat washers
f4 classics 55mm 99a
year old reds
bronze allen
mob
sb dunk lows/adidas tyshawns

short tail with venture forged make it as steep as my popsicle, hard to find on bigger shapes. should perform similarly to my normal popsicle so im hyped to thrash it tonight

Fucking thing literally looks like a popsicle stick  :)
I put it through my normal standstill ollie/fliptrick routine that all freshies get and I can tell it gonna take more big board effort than the Polar. I will just let it kick my ass, and love it anyways...because it is pretty sexy.

That looks glorious, especially the tail.

Hockey 8.75 x 32.60 (14.5 wheelbase)
Spitfire Formula Four OG Classics 52 mm
-both lightly skated with my old Ventures

Ace 55s
Bronson Raw bearings
Mob grip
Random Bones hardware
Not pictured - 2nd pair in a row of all white leather Blazers

Not a huge fan of the graphic but I wanted to try one of Hockey’s 8.75s now that they’re making them. First time skating Aces (after a few pairs of Ventures in a row) which might be a rough transition but I’m thinking they’ll pair nicely with the 14.5 wheelbase.  Also stoked that the OG classics are now in F4.

I have an 8.5 Hockey deck lined up for after this.  Has anyone skated 9 inch Aces on an 8.5 before? I’ve never gone a full half inch difference between my deck and trucks before...

You could definitely skate them without the laces. They would be as good as a slip-on skate shoe imo. I do throw laces in them because I like the look better. Definitely my favorite shoes.

It's not too loud but it sounds wicked cool. Shitty part is I have to restrain from fliptricks because last time I skated in there I missed a few and it dinged up the floor..so it's just ollie variations and shove it tricks from now on. I gotta keep it professional lol

You better put some 5.8s on that 8.5.

I've skated 55s on 8.5 (including Hockey 8.5) on 6 or 7 different setups and loved it every time. Flip tricks and everything worked great still. Honestly amazing setup all around for me

Also, super curious to hear about how that 8.75 Hockey skates, was stoked to see that and the 9. Too bad the 9's wheelbase is a mile long

same. The 8.75” shape is more blunt than the 9” as well. Close to scooping it if it’s still around when some snow melts.
