Built up this second curb board to teach my nephew how to ride curbs.
He’ll be using this or my other board – he's 16, he's gonna want to be riding this one 😂

I’ve cut down on my spending on skate gear dramatically the past 12 months. Thought I’d ruin that by impulse buying some trucks. Then wheels. Then bearings.

Loveseat
AF1 60’s (finally)
SF F4 Radial Full 58mm (these seem MUCH wider than the Kader Radial Full 58’s I had a couple years back)
Bronson Raw
0.1” mini logo riser

Nice! I could be wrong but I think the Radial Fulls are new this year. Those pervious Kader's were just Radials. So we have Radial Slims, Radials and now Radial Fulls, which are the beasts you have set up.

Nice work on the trucks. Are these feeble marks on the back truck?

Even the first Radials in 58mm were bigger than almost everything else in the Spitfire line up, which I guess is why they sold out so fast and then DLX came up with the Radial Full shape, given some of those guys wanted an even bigger, wider wheel than what was on offer.

I haven't seen the Conical Full 60 mm in person yet, but I imagine they are going to be pretty solid too, but they might look thinner with the cutaway sides.

The Classic F4 60mm wheels are still pretty wide too, but as they are way more rounded, they don't look half as wide from go.

I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

I roll with a quiver, that I dig into depending on terrain or mood.
But this would be my go-to, my daily driver, my main squeeze. If I was ever forced into setup monogamy, it would be along these lines.

Honest question, what's the advantage of that shape?
Like, what situation will it help to have your nose suddenly taper in and get way narrower and pointier?
It looks like someone cut the nose off a narrower deck and glued it to a wider deck or something.

But everyone is saying it's awesome, so I must be missing something, right?
Or is it just awesome cause it's weird?

Possibly unpopular opinion, but 90% of non-popsicle shapes don't bring any technical advantages.
BUT you might just really like the way it looks, it makes you feel good when you look down while skating.

Same reason why some people like pointy kicks like egg boards/baker shapes. Can make scooping tricks a bit easier, and some prefer to flick off of a tapered nose as opposed to a blocky square nose.

This one kinda nice because it doesnt get too pointy on the very tip despite the taper, due to the end being squared off a bit, so you probably get less drag from sitting on a noseslide than vs a completely pointy tapered tip.

Just guessing here... but mostly, look cool, feel cool, feel good, skate good which is 100% valid

Yup it is! This is a little thinner than I normally go but I've never really had an issue with it coming off. I do make sure to press it down very throughly when I grip it though.

Yeah exactly! I'm not the kind of skater to be flipping into and out of stuff (or even flipping my board much at all lol), so I don't pay much attention to board dimensions and like to have fun with shaped boards. I skated two football shapes before this and wanted to switch it up. It's the same reason why I do these fucked up grip jobs, it's fun to look down at something unique you know?

Totally legit, I hope I didn't come across like a jerk, I just genuinely wondered if there was a technical advantage in some way. Also, I feel bad for not pointing out that grip job is absolutely insane, the patience required to pull that off is mind blowing!
