for my bros who own Polar pants, can you let me know which models are the slimmest to baggiest?  like is 93>90>surf pant>big boys?

also are any of their pants lightweight?
[close]

surf pants are super lightweight. Their canvas pants options Im sure are pretty light too.

Slimmest to baggiest out of those options:
90s, 93s/surf pants, big boys.

Surf pants vs 93s depends on what size you get specifically, they fit a bit different. Surf pants have a lot of thigh room but taper a good amount down at the leg opening, 93s taper too but it looks straighter. They have size charts on their site if you want to compare the details.
[close]

Wait, I got two pairs of surf pants and just got my first pair of 93s (love ALL of them to death) and thought the 90s would be baggier than 93?

Most definitely not, 93s are definitely much baggier than 90s. Unless the fit has drastically changed in the last few seasons which I doubt it has.

Ok, thanks a ton for that, I totally got it wrong then.

Anyone got a pair of those "x-large 91 pant" ..  they look good just don't trust the sizing
[close]

The fit looks weird to me, wide enough but too cropped for my liking.

Cheers ..  I'm not into showing off my socks so might be a pass

Damn it, you guys got me to pull the trigger on the Cord Surf Pants.
I better not regret it, they're too damn expensive!

I got a pair of Surf Cords in dark navy. Most comfy pants for sure! However, I do have some worries about durability. I did take a slam without getting a hole, but cords tends to easly become bad looking.

^ I’m definitely curious on the durability. I rip my lightweight pants pretty consistently, heel flips and falling do a number.

Loving the Polar 90’s Chino.

That instagram https://www.instagram.com/whatpantsarethose/ has been posting these quite a bit.  How did you size yours?

I sized up in my waist for extra bag and I just wear a belt.

How are the Polar 40's?  They look a little more subtle to me but it's hard to tell from the pictures.

Never had elastic waistband before.  May need to try these.

I get 36 dickies double knee ( im a 34) and just cut them, I get them for cheap so I buy 2 pants at a time and they last. If I buy regular fit I get 40 and cut them also, they feel tighter than loose 36

Or scrubs. There’s like dozens of colors, levels of durability, and way more affordable than any skate brand.

it must be crazy when chico sells you something and the tables switch from "give me my money chico" to "giving my money to chico"

Also, pants that are used for martial arts, will need some tailoring but will definitely do the job.

Polar stuff is made to a higher quality and aren't made in China. My surf pants are from Poland.
Those vans pants look like raver 90's pants and are probably made in Taiwan.
If you like them just get them if you have money, although I've had issues with Vans pants being too slim in the past.

Has noone mentioned Ben Davis?

What do you guys think about it if you guys skated in them? Were the pants breathable? How durable was it? Thanks

I have these , they run pretty small. Typically wear small in Polar Surf pants, needed a medium in these

Thicker material than dickies, do not as breathable but in my opinion they are more durable than 874s. So they pretty good imo

Does that also apply to the Ben Davis carpenter denim pants?

Unlike half of the people on here, I am on a budget. I don't have the opportunity to try every goddamn pants and buy them. So how about you shut your ass and let me speak.
Do you think I would be happy if the pants I bought were ripped in a few days? Ya that's what I thought.

If you're in the UK these chef pants are only £35 and have a similar vibe to Polar's surf pants.
